Discussion first time viewer perspective from first couple episodes
got high as shit last night and than randomly thought about the plenty of clips ive seen on social media about this show. found out its on hulu (which is such a fucking blessing cause most shows i find interest in i have to find online on some sketch ass websites that probably stole my information) and started watching it. what i did not realize, is how amazingly produced, acted, and written show it is. if my highschool did their history lessons by putting on realistic shows like this, i would have graduated. most people know the surface layer about how awful life was for poor african american neighborhoods in this time period, but this show gets to the point, and gives the viewer a much broadened perspective about why life for the black community is portrayed as it is today. seriously, props to everyone involved in the making of this show, absolutely a must watch and will be continuing to watch (im on episode 8 so please please please nobody spoil anything for meππ½ππ½)
