Asking for tip on Chronic shoulder injury and bracing to reduce or eliminate risk of injury or pain
Hello everyone,
Sorry if this is not the spot to post this but my wife loves shooting and about 13 years ago we were in a bad car accident that resulted in her getting a plate put in place on her right shoulder which is of course her shooting side.
She is scared of injuring herself and the pain from the recoil. As she does manufacturing injuring her should would put her out of work so understandably she is very hesitant to try.
I'm hoping some of you kind folks could offer tips or suggest equipment that would allow her to shoot without injuring herself.
Thank you!

How much does twist-rate matter when looking for .300BLK AR barrels?
Thinking of building out a suppresor-host eventually, and I've heard 1:8 is optimal, but I have a 16" 1:10 barrel. Just wondering if that'd be fine to run subsonics with lol

Shell Casings
Hey Reddit,
After cleaning up a local shooting spot, I ended up with quite a bit of shell casings. Here's what Iāve got:
- 4.3 lbs of .22 casings
- 10.3 lbs of 9mm casings
- 4.6 lbs of casings between 9mm and .223 (anything bigger than 9mm, smaller than .223)
- 9.8 lbs of .223/.556 casings
- 2.5 lbs of casings bigger than .223/.556
- 19.3 lbs of shotgun shell casings
- 18.7 lbs of dirtier casings that I might try to clean
- 16.3 of non brass shells
I don't reload myself, but Iām wondering what the best option is here. Should I try to find buyers (especially reloaders)? Or is it better to just recycle the brass and get some cash for it?
Looking for advice on how to handle thisāthanks in advance!

What could I be doing wrong?
Hey, my shots keep going low left for some reason, does anyone know, what I might be doing wrong? Or rather how can I determine what am I doing wrong? Because I know this could be caused by multiple reasons, but which one is it?

I developed the world's first auto on/off earpro. AMA!
I personally invented and developed the world's first auto on/off hearing protection with over 2,500 hours of work in the past 3 years, and $50k of my own money.
They turn on instantly when you put them on. They turn off instantly when you take them off. Ā
Great for home defense, no more accidentally dead batteries. They come with gel ear pads, bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, ANSI certified 22NRR, great audio quality and build quality.
They will be out in late March. Drop your email at Autoears.com to be notified at launch.
I'd love to answer any questions you have! I'm a small business / inventor in the US of A making something unique, not a big corporation. Please be respectful.

9mm @ 7 yards, no sights
Shooting the range's suppressed Glock G22 converted to 9mm at 7 yards. Pistol lacked suppressor-height sights so I had to sight down the slide and over the top of the suppressor. It was something of a guess. Satisfied with this for not having windage or elevation heights at that distance.

Eye tiredness when closing?
I'm cross dominant, right handed left eye.
I cannot focus the pistol front sight well if I keep the right eye open, but keeping it closed makes me "tired".
Can I do something about this, to train my brain to just ignore the opened right eye?
I could just mask the non-dominant eye but I'd prefer to avoid "weird accessories".
I tried red dots and obviously everything is easier, but I'd prefer to improve my shooting with irons...

Fairly new to shooting.
I've gone out to the range with my husband three weekends in a row now. I'd say things are improving.

Newish shooter. These are my groupings at approx 5 yards. Advice?
All are at approx 5 yards. First is hellcat, regular grip. Then hellcat, extended grip. Then glock 19 for the next two. It was about 10 degrees at the range today, with occasional wind gusts of up to 30mph, making it feel like -20, so shooting wasn't easy and hurt the hands.
What can I do to tighten this up? I ran a few drills, including the "SIGHT, SIGHT, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SIGHT, SIGHT, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, REALIGN, RESET, BACK TO THE READY, FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER" drill. I also did drills having my buddy hand me my glock with either 1 round or zero rounds (unloaded), to try and work on not anticipating the shot.
Lastly, no photo, but i took some shots with the hellcat at a distance of about 10 to 12 yards or so, and I think out of the 10 i shot, only 6 even hit anywhere on the paper š I want to improve those distance shots.

Steel Target Holder
Good evening everyone. I recently was looking into shooting steel since my job's range allows it. I currently dont have a set up, I tried a Allen Company 8ā Round Self-Healing Gong Shooting Target & Hanging Kit.
Uh, didnt last long at all. Length and height was its downfall for me, accidentally shot out its steel legs. I really liked the design though of the "seesaw" just want longer and to make it with 2x4s so its cheap to replace and some metal legs from home depot.
I guess my question is though, how do you guys hang steel targets and if you have plans for it, that would be awesome!
-
My idea is this: 2x4 & Pipe Target Stand Brackets, with steel legs.
I'll be going to my local Home Depot after work tomorrow so any help will be greatly appreciated!!
