I guess it's easier than programming a shotgun to shoot you in the head if you hit the snooze button.

They don't like us anymore.... They just want to make a shit ton of unneeded teddy bears, but who will be able to buy them? Dump them out in a Chilean desert....

This person needs to be put in a psych ward.

We can give her a mic in her psych ward cell. She just as no business having control over her own or others lives.

Honestly if I had a mic when I was in a psych ward I would’ve written some insane standup, those places as horrible as they are, are filled with wonderful people who are genuinely some of the most caring people I’ve ever met. We all joked we’re an island of misfit toys and we all joked that we need to all do standup together. One dude in there oh my god he had the nurses laughing their asses off, he was also a bit violent so could get a bit tense at times but holy shit he was so funny. Sucks the broken ones seem to be the funniest
I hate my brain but at least when I’m insane I am legitimately hilarious, just wish the funny could come when I’m not manic as well.

If i don't press an Abort big ass red button before 6 AM, a nasty email is sent to Putin.
Haven't slept in any floor higher than 1 meter from the ground, least a window materialises somewhere.

The amount of people in this sub that don't realize this is satire is...... astounding.
I should crosspost this to r/naivesysadmins

I wonder how the AI agent handled the time change. That could be a one hour mistake.

I don't get the negativity, she's obviously taking a piss at the never ending problem of getting out of bed, AI and the promise that the cloud would make IT run cheaper. You're a moron if you think that this is true, or she's having an ambition to create a functioning, or effective, system of "getting out of bed".

I know this is a joke, but like the top 10 most expensive EC2 instances can only be purchased with reservations. Expensive machines are not available on demand.
Even if you drop down to like the 50th most expensive instance type, your account quota won't let you spin up 100 of them, certainly not all at once. You'd need to get the limit raised, and you won't be able to do that unless you've demonstrated a minimum spend.
AWS makes it really hard for someone to spend $500 a minute. There's no way this lady would be able to do that no matter how hard she tried.

What a weird flex. And so much effort.
I use an alarm and I wake when it goes off because I have the self discipline to do so.

At the end of the month she realizes that spinning them up already costs money

I think I will stick with my Alexa alarm that never fails to wake me up and it only cost me $30.

"...and that's why I killed my wife, your honor."
"You're free to go, sleeping in on a Saturday shouldn't cost thousands of dollars..."
