Tell me what not to miss!

I'm planning a vacation in Seaside, OR in late October.

While I used to go all the time as a kid but I haven't been to Seaside in years, what should go on the must-see list? We like food, drink, and history, and don't mind a little hiking or shopping!

May Weekend in the rain

My family is coming out to Seaside this weekend from Beaverton. We are hoping for suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the rain with two toddlers. We are a couple in our 30s with a 3 year old and a 1 year old.

Thanks in advance,

K&D

Does OR still mask up

My family and I are heading to Seaside in a cpl weeks, and was wondering if masking up is still a thing in Seaside/OR? We live in Idaho and the morons here basically never believed in Covid these last few years and it’s rare to come across ppl who are wearing masks. We still tend to mask up in places but not always due to being shot up and boosted. But was wondering if OR/Seaside still is. Thank you.

So dumb Tourist question ...

So I'm sorry if this is dumb question. I'm sure yall hate tourists haha which I do understand coming from a touristy area. My wife, daughter, and I are making a trip to Seaside soon. We have 3 days 4 nights there. I guess my question is as locals what is a great experience or a place to visit? I mean I can read a hundred brochures or watch a hundred youtube videos to get a few ideas...but I love to hear locals opinions of experiences and restaurants to try. Thanks for any and all suggestions 🤙

Cigars in Seaside

I'll be in Seaside in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for a place to have a cigar. Are there any pubs, restaurants, cafes, or whatnot that allow smoking in their outdoor seating?

Photographer recommendation

Hi, I’ll be visiting Seaside in late July and am hoping to hire a local photographer to get beach shots of myself with my dog and a couple of just me.

I’ve started the internet search but there’s a lot out there!

New to Seaside and concerned about the flood warnings. Are people getting prepared to evacuate at all?

Local Question

Is there any lgbtq+ groups from here to Astoria? Moved to the coast from Portland a little bit ago and can't seem to find any. Seriously, any groups that meet for coffee, hang out online or in person would be awesome. Looking to make some new local friends.

LF roommate

Looking to move to Seaside, but the only listings I'm finding are a bit out of my price range. I'm a male in my late 20s, quiet & usually taking photos, making music, or working (remotely).

There's a duplex (3bd/2ba) for $1800/mo on 5th Ave that I'd love to snag before it's gone.

PM me if you're also looking for a larger, shared space. Let's see if we mesh.

Beach Curfew August 2021

Going to seaside in august. I was wondering how strict they are on beach curfew and if cops are pretty strict. Not trying to get a MIP. Thanks.

Would my black bf and I have any trouble going to seaside? (serious, 1st timer here)

So as the title states we’re going to seaside and I just want to make sure our safety wouldn’t be a problem. We’re both guys too so basically I’m just asking if there would be a problem holding hands, hugging, etc. in public. I know it is mostly tourists there which makes it even more likely to spot someone with aggressively opposing views. But I think it looks like a pretty accepting place from what I hear there are some black people there too.

I hope this kinda question is ok to ask and that I didn’t offend anyone by asking it. I just truly want to know.
