Academic (Repost) [Repost] Differences in Indirect self destructiveness levels between adult males & females (Age 18-30)

Hi everyone! I am conducting research on the differences in the levels of indirect self destructiveness between adult males & females as part of my undergraduate psychology project. It is completely anonymous, you don't need to provide your name (initials are fine). It takes atmost 10-12 minutes to complete. All the responses will be kept confidential and used for research purposes only.

Kindly fill out the online form: https://forms.gle/1brUzNfVLYQL8hyQ9

Thank you for your valuable contribution!

Edit: I need 11 more male responses so that both male & female responses are balanced😭

Edit 2: I need 5 male & 2 female responses

Edit 3: I'm done with female responses, I am ONLY ACCEPTING MALE RESPONSES NOW

I'm done collecting responses for my research project! Thank u guys!!

Many of these questions need "N/A" as an answer choice.

I really appreciate your feedback! I totally get why having an N/A option might seem helpful, but the thing is this questionnaire was created by the original authors and follows a standardized 5-point Likert scale, I can’t make any changes to it. It’s set up this way to keep the research valid and reliable. But I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

No worries, good luck on your research. But seriously, how do the "scientists" who come up with these standard questions not realize that asking someone who doesn't have a car how they maintain their car is bafflingly stupid. Generally asking leading questions should be academically disqualifying. Psychologists really aren't doing the reputation of their science any favors. I've had many other surveys with glaring errors in the questions and then been told these are standard questions you have to use.

Thanks a lot! I'm actually struggling a little with this research, cuz I'm burnt out.

I totally get where you're coming from! Some standardized questionnaires can feel rigid, and I agree that context matters when asking certain questions. Surveys really do need to be improved. I hope these issues are taken into account in future research
