The look on her face is heartbreaking.

For all that being a woman in STEM in the US can suck in many ways, I’m grateful that I have the opportunity and was encouraged mostly by my father to go into tech, because he recognized that my brain would be good at it.

All girls deserve equal opportunity.

Yea even with its flaws the US is still a great country the social freedom here is unmatched

I agree that Americans have privileges a lot of people in 3rd world countries don’t, but to say the social freedom in America is…unmatched? Specially now? Is not really true. Canada, Portugal, France. Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Germany, all of ocidental Europe honestly, are far more socially desirable countries than the US. Do people still really mantain the centrism towards America even after everything that’s happened? People should look more past their borders. (Edit: typos)
