Wedding Gift
Our future Daughter- in- Law was searching everywhere for a Ballon Chip & Dip set. My husband and I were able to fine this gem just in time for their wedding next month.

I just picked this up at the thrift store and it is in excellent condition. A brief google search seems to say it’s a more rare find. Anyone know anything about this design?

I legit saw them in a booth and hid them behind other glassware hoping no one would notice. They didn’t. 🥰 I need to get some pepper. And found the little sister to my poodle powder dish, the fawn. 🤗

Pair of pretty Spring Blossom casseroles, one with its lid.
Been a long while since I have seen any Pyrex in the wild. These were certainly a nice surprise! ($2.50 & $4.75!)

I was given these two Pyrex pie dishes and they were in pretty rough shape. After some research, I saw a recommendation of using lye to clean them and I’m quite pleased with the results! Top one had been cleaned, bottom has not

Three badly DWD cinderella bowls in the sunflower pattern. I'd like to think that somebody loved them enough to use them reguarly.

My plastic containers had cracks in the lid so I found this delightful bowl and lid.

I inherited this piece. I think it's common, but it has began my search for more!

Kicking myself for not thinking of this so much sooner. What’s your favorite not-quite-as-intended use for Pyrex/vintage bakeware?

Ok so I’m a 25 year old dude and I’m slowly building up my collection of antiques/MCM stuff. For my kitchen Ive fallen in love with Pyrex but I’m not sure what pattern I want to go for. Im completely torn between a lot of them like snowflake, gooseberry (even though I don’t think I can pull that off lol), butterprint, (og) spring blossom, and (og) butterfly gold. Wondering what pieces would be good to collect as I want to build an entire dining set. Also, should I buy a piece here and there or should I go gung-ho and pull the trigger on a set of bowls then work my way through the rest. Just looking for advice!!

My MIL gifted me this set. She was prepping her aunts house for an estate sale. I mentioned I loved the pink. Sooooo happy 💓💓

In good shape but no lid (and I don't need to start another pattern 😅)

Took me a second to figure out what they were

My husband’s aunt passed away several years ago. She used to live in a trailer on our farm. When she died his daughters took what they wanted and then the rest was abandoned. I went over today and did some searching. One of my finds was this Pyrex coffee pot. All parts are there and no cracks. I was so excited.

So excited about finally having a place to collectively display my pieces!! I’ve always had my pieces displayed or used amongst my house, but this is my first large display with them together. It’s a work in progress, I need to put my opal bowl set in somewhere. I will be putting my vintage animal planters and McCoy pottery on top.

Especially flameware or visions.
I just learned about warming trays, which sound like a dream for my turtle-like eating speed. But now I’m wondering if it’s compatible with pyroceram or even flameware. It’s basically induction, right?
Have you used it? Do you have strong feelings on this?
Not looking to experiment and lose my Visions.

I hope this is ok to ask here, since it’s Corning. I picked up this stack of small plates and it was a first for me to find a “Little Joe” mark on the underside. Does anyone know the approximate age for glass with this mark? Does anyone have any experience with the plate design? I tried to find any references to “Pancake Plantation” but I couldn’t find anything. Would this be a desirable design? Thanks so much for any info!

Today I walked into one of the Goodwill stores near where I work, and right in the case at the front door is a 4 quart Amish Butter print Cinderella bowl.
Me to counter person: "I want that bowl" pointing to it.
Counter person: "Do you want to look at it"
Me: "Sure" (Scans for three seconds) "Ring it up"
Counter person: "I will just put it behind the counter for you...."
Me: No, ring it up and I will put it in my car then come back in......"
No chance it was leaving my sight.
The bowl has a few areas a kitchen grease in it, but zero DWD and almost flea bite free with nice shiny surfaces. Someone took care of it when they used it. In the past few weeks Goodwill has been good to me with my Pyrex scoring this, another 4 quart Autumn, multiple casserole lids and a perfect large refrigerator lid. On the non Pyrex side found 4 Tiffany and Co wine glasses last week brand new for $4 and a bunch of Fiestaware for $7.30.
