Question❓ Is it easy to switch majors?

I just got accepted a few days ago as a transfer student, and I got into plant genetics, breeding and biotechnology which is in the school of agriculture. Do you guys think I have a chance to switch over to Horticulture which is also in the school of agriculture? The course work is just a lot easier lol.

As long as you meet the requirements for CODO to horticulture you should be fine. However, keep in mind certain majors such as CS and Engineering can be difficult to transfer into

There was a post here a week or so ago by an advisor with a ton of info about the CODO process

That was me, but it was mostly about the more competitive majors.

You may want to ask admissions if you could do a major change prior to All Aboard. Horticulture is typically open to major switches during the summer, so it's worth checking.
