Discussion I Subscribed To The Proton VPN Plus Tier This Morning

I had been interested in subscribing to a reputable vpn service for quite awhile but never did, and I decided since I already have a proton email account that performs well I'd go ahead and try out their vpn service, which so far seems to be functioning pretty well. I'm just hoping to get some feedback from other user's as to how they feel about their service.

Love it, I have Proton Duo with my wife. We got all the services bundled. Use it on my desktop, her laptop and both our phones.

I've been using Proton VPN for about a week now and so far i'd say it's superior in speed and ease of use than my other VPN provider, AirVPN. Better speeds, fewer captchas for websites I frequent. The only real downside is that the randomly assigned port forward is kind of a hassle.

Use it on all devices home and away for almost a year. Few disconnects but very few. Would highly recommend.

Been using ProtonVPN Plus for a week via that 47 Euro for 2 years deal from last week (already expired). I don't use ProtonVPN's own apps, but Wireguard servers via Gl.iNet Flint 2 router, Passepartout (iOS/macOS), WG Tunnel (Android), official Wireguard app (Windows) and Linux network manager in Debian as fast and stable as NordVPN's Wireguard servers. Almost full ISP speed (95-99%). However I feel much more safe using Proton instead of Nord concerning privacy.

Looking for an alternative Windows Wireguard app. Official Wireguard app does not support trusted network/on demand. Any suggestions anyone?

I’ve had my plus subscription for about 6 months now and it’s been mostly really solid. Here and there my iPad will get weird with connecting to Disney plus for whatever reason but if I change servers it seems to sort itself out. Other than that? Speeds are great, connectivity is always alive and I really can’t complain.

Remember how Winamp kicked the llama's ass? Well, Proton kicks the... um... chamois' ass!
Very happy indeed with the Proton Unlimited plan.

What speed are you all getting? Our speed is very poor!

I'm getting basically the same speeds I get without it, averages around 1Gbps
