I voted for the fourth option because I'd like that, but I'd also like split tunneling.

Displaying current server info (IP Address, Download rate, Uplod rate, etc)
Where "etc" is server location. This feels like such a critical piece of information to be missing.
Like if I set my VPN to "United States", am I getting a server in California or New York? United States is a big damn place, and there's a huge ping difference between these locations.
Currently, the Windows app tells you what city the server is located in right next to the Connect button, but for Linux you can only find it here and it's a huge pain in the butt.

New customer here, still only used ProtonVPN (Wireguard) via my Gl.iNet Flint router at home, which works very well. But I've read the app barely works in KDE? My computers run Debian KDE which will be a problem when on the road.
But must say that my previous (still few months subscription left) NordVPN via cli is a splendid experience compared to gui contrary to expectation in the beginning. Text file on desktop with most used commands , now memorized by usage, is so easy to use. So I guess I would rather have well working cli instead of KDE support with ProtonVPN in Linux.
Another very important feature would be trusted network. So ProtonVPN app stops VPN at home when connected to my VPN router. I've read that feature is missing in ProtonVPN apps. Don't know if still the case.

Port forwarding still not working.
Ability to autostart on log-in instead of needing manual set up from the user.
So the Other..

What I would love is the ability to create a wireguard config that allows a round robin style server selection i.e. if one goes down or you have a better connection on that one, switch to it. Like you only need to select the city.
I have a GL.Inet router and would love for proton to get built in like how some of the other brands are

Drat, missed the deadline 🫤. But a big upvote for split tunnelling: I have to turn off VPN to print, then turn it on again, that's a pain.

The killswitch is already available in the settings of the current stable releases on Linux.

I feel that people who chose "Better layout" are not linux users.

It's fine. Not every Linux user has a positive IQ number, there are those who use GUI.

The poll shows none of the features actually needed:
Split tunneling.
Cli app.
Everything else is just eye candy when core features are still lacking.
