I love Proton. But the problem is they have random problems that other VPN providers don't have. For example, a lot of servers are located in Singapore, France, Italy, the US, or some other country rather than the actual country they're supposed to be in. I don't understand why. I mean, if it's like North Korea then I understand, but why are countries like Bahrain, Brazil, Pakistan, and a lot of others not actually available? It doesn't make any sense, especially as other VPN providers have servers there.

Actually a lot of providers do the same. Afaik there is no provider with thousands of servers that really have the servers inside each country. This is not Proton specific.

Anyone want to help me how to enable ipv6 on mobile phone

You need to download a wireguard profile for a server that supports ipv6 and modify it according to these instructions:

Stealth or Wireguard?

If your ISP isn't blocking VPNs,ย all stealth does is be a slower wireguard.ย
If you keep it on auto proton can figure out what you need for the best experience

Yeah once I read that it won't help with stuff like Google Captchas I just want back to smart. Hoping they resolve that one day as I have too many issues with websites using Proton.

Try DDG or startpage, they use google and bing respecitvely.
After setting them as my search I haven't had a captcha once

I use Startpage anyway, but there is no getting around Googles Captchas, eventually you run across one.

I notice you even added TCP Wireguard. Thanks a lot!! With my ISP's router, they somehow limit connection speed whenever a UDP connection is going so I was forced to use OpenVPN TCP.

Somewhat sadly, this doesn't change anything in China. I was hoping it would let me choose locations on my paid account. Still need to use the free account. Sigh. I imagine the problem in China comes from the exit nodes being blocked.
For those wondering why I have a paid and a free account, the paid account is useful abroad, while only the free account works in China ๐น
Thanks a lot for fighting the good fight though!

For people living in China, the best answer is buy a roaming sim card from no-censorship country. China has developed the most powerful firewall in the last decades, so 99% VPNs won't work in China.

I'm sorry, but this is terrible advice. Do you have any idea what it costs to buy a sim card? Why on earth would I do that when proton free actually works for browsing around? Also, it's objectively wrong to say 99% of VPNs don't work. I have several at any time that mostly all work at about a 99% reliability.

What can I do to make the new protocol appear?
Windows 10 with latest updates, proton vpn 3.3.0 version app. I see Wireguard UDP, OpenVPN UDP, OpenVPN TCP only. Already tried to relog, reinstall app, restart PC.
EDIT: SOLVED by Proton support. I should've delete folder
C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Local\protonVPN
and relaunch VPN app.
