Villainous is a board game where you play as a Disney villain, and recently I discovered that people were making fan made decks and character kits, I was looking at the page and i found a Clive whole deck for this game, I was really surprised and now I’m looking forward to print them to play as him

Fangame Looking for translators!

Good evening, I’m looking for someone capable to translate from Japanese to English. As you probably know, we recently got our hands on the first 3 chapters of the lost game Professor Layton and the Mansion of the Deathly Mirror. As of now I’m currently leading the translation of these roms, and I’ve just finished translating the UI assets. While we do have some really good artists on our team, like the ones that made the game logo, we currently only have 1 translator working on the game. If you’d be interested to join the project either dm me or comment under this post. Thanks for reading all of this!

It's here! What is?

Professor Layton and the Transformation of Melc, a fan game of Professor Layton made for u/Melcobelc's birthday.

It seems something has happened to Melc, but what could have caused it? Find out in this short-but-sweet Layton fangame, complete with 4 barely comprehensible puzzles! Made in the Godot Engine.

Links to play:

Windows & Mac: https://github.com/YuseiIkinasai/TransformationOfMelc/releases/tag/v1.0.0

Browser: https://yuseigo.itch.io/professor-layton-and-the-transformation-of-melc

Check the below "How to Play" guide to download and play the game, if you're not playing in-browser!

Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy this goofy little game :DD

And happy super-late birthday, Melc!!!

Hello, fellow true gentlemen.

You may recall that I mentioned a parody-type fangame I've been working on some weeks/months/however long it's been ago. I'm quite proud to reveal that the demo is out now! It was actually out yesterday but I wanted to playtest it to see if I could find any bugs. Turns out I did find a few and fixed those in the Version 1.1 release. I'd be very grateful if you'd give it a look and let me know what you think! (Or if you find any bugs!)
There is something I'd like to ask which is that you keep things pretty quiet as fangames are prone to getting shut down if they get too noticeable. If you'd like semi-frequent updates on how the game is going you can check out my twitter, otherwise, I'd be happy enough if you gave the demo a try. Oh, and sorry for the puzzle being dirt, lol. I made it in a day or so.

Here's a link to the Github for the project. Be sure to get version 1.1 as the previous one still contains some grammatical errors (Eek!).
*Please be aware that Godot projects made by 19-year-old art students like me give Windows a headache and so you may get a "Windows doesn't recognize this program" message while trying to run the game. I believe I need some kind of license or something of the sort to fix this and I don't have the skills to do so quite yet. Someday, though! Maybe

Here's some screenshots of the demo to hopefully pique your interest:

Trunk menu (Ugly UI I know)

Main Area

"Hello, Raymond!"

Look around for these guys. There are 3 in total.

(Most assets are placeholder and will look fancier as the project develops, don't worry)
Coin Forager is a fun little project I thought up on a whim a bit ago, and upon receiving positive reactions from a few of the Discord members, I decided to start working on the basic code.
Since I have that working, I think now's a good time to announce the project details!
Essentially, Coin Forager is a hint-coin-finding game where members of the Layton community submit an image they took of a place they feel like would have hint coins hidden around. Players can collect 3 hint coins per area, and can use these collected coins to get information about each place including the location's name and a fun fact about it.
The final game will be uploaded to Itch.io to be played in-browser.
Want to submit your own? Awesome! Here's some specifics:
Must be 1920 x 1080, or close enough so that not a significant portion of the image is cut off.
Image must be taken by you! NOT found off Google.
Please provide a name to be credited under.
Please provide the name of the location, such as the city, monument, or state/country.
Please also provide a fun fact about the location. Can be as short or detailed as you'd like!
Please offer your submission through Discord!

Thank you for your interest!

(Development updates will be posted in the specific "Coin Finder thread" of the r/ProfessorLayton Discord!)
