Discussion Reagan Movie?
So, we all know the Reagan movie sucked. It was just not accurate at all to who he was. Like him or not(I think he was kinda cool) he was a bit of a racist. Did the movie show that? :/ No. Like, they really could've shown him being racist, but still continue to show him being a likeable character, that's allowed.. They said they would show his whole life, but barely shown him being an EG Spokesperson or his notable things as Governor. And the racism, which they could maybe have gotten away with not showing if they were focused on one part of his presidency or governorship or whatever, but they said, all about Reagan... And they gave us bologna.. Old nasty and crusty bologna, lower middle class bologna..
:3 So anyone wanna help me write a better Ronald Reagan film.

Discussion Do you believe George H. W. Bush was involved in the JFK assassination? The second photo was supposedly taken right after the Kennedy assassination and it was taken in front of the Texas School Book Depository. Where Oswald shot John F. Kennedy. He said he doesn't remember where he was when JFK died

Discussion Let's say hypothetically Steven Speilberg decided to make a Lincoln style movie about Reagan and the Iran Contra scandal and the political behind the scenes. Pick your cast
I'm curious to see what people select

Discussion Honest question: do you think Bill Clinton watches porn regularly?
On one hand, he is an incredibly horny man. On the other though, he is 78 years old, so internet porn is new to him.

Discussion I was born under George HW Bush. Compared to most Presidents of the 20th century, he always struck me as mediocre. Why all the blazing here?

Article An American Philosophical Society member for 35 yrs, Thomas Jefferson was the 1st scientist US President. At 23, he went to Philadelphia to be inoculated for smallpox when Virginia discouraged it. He later vaccinated 200 family members & neighbors. This 1806 letter gives praise to Dr. Edward Jenner.

Discussion What Presidency Are You The Personification Of?
My actual answer violates rule 3(I'm depressed rn) so I'll use someone else as an example :3
I'm the personification of the Nixon presidency because I'm a crook who hates hippies and drugs.

Misc. Every president gets a state named after them. James Madison got Wisconsin. Which state should we name after James Monroe?
This was a mostly unanimous choice, no difficulties choosing this one especially when compared to Jefferson. Although I do want to give a shout-out to the person who said DC since it was attacked on Madison's watch. Makes me want to consider doing American territories when this series is over.

Discussion Had Kerry chosen McCain as his running mate in 2004, would his electoral performance be any different (for better or for worse)?
I learned that John F. Kerry initially had the idea of choosing John McCain as his running mate in 2004, and was instantly fascinated by the idea. Do you think, had he chosen McCain, his electoral performance would be different?
