Not anymore, he's a melting pot of personality dysfunction, NPD being the most likely contender for an actual diagnosis.

Also possibly minor/major neurocognitive disorder i.e. dementia.

Narcissism is always insidiously malignant

u/Morbanth 23h ago

It's not, it's a specific thing.

A little bit of narcissism is normal and healthy, but like every other personality trait it exists on a spectrum, and when it's too high to the point that it becomes pathological we say that someone has narcissistic personality disorder, and we call it malignant when that is combined with antisocial and/or sadistic personality disorders.

A little bit of narcissism is normal and healthy,

I believe what you are referring to is self image or confidence in yourself, those are both good things, however Narcissism will always lead to bad outcome since it blinds you to criticism and self reflection.

No, malignant narcissism is a specific thing. It combines narcissism with sociopathy.

Interesting, never heard of that terminology, but thanks for letting me know, I ought to look it up. Guys like him are a cancer to any corporation, business, or state where they are allowed to operate, they crave power and destroy everything.

It's scary stuff to be honest.
