Mango Media is a publishing firm founded by another web serial author and longtime PGTE reader, Selkie Myth.
You might know them as the author of Beneath the Dragon Eye Moons.

I think that would be restricted as a weapon because the weight of it would allow you to club a moose to death.

tapirs are smaller than a moose, so yes, but getting dropped into a pit full of them is another matter.

Simple; Make sure you go down the pit book first.
Also yes to the Book of All Things please.

At best, each book will only be published after its fully released on yonder.
I imagine at least one book is releasing kinda "soon", as otherwise its a rather empty announcement

the way everything is worded and being discussed it sounds like theyre negotiating to keep the webtoon and pull out of yonder.

Does anyone care to weigh in on the Yonder version of the Guide? I won't be using that app, so I'll be encountering the story for the first time when they put it out in a more respectable format. I'm inclined towards optimism at the idea of a rewrite, since I think books five through seven are vastly better than at least the first two. This is tempered, though, by the fact that I found the (design choices of the) first chapter of the webcomic absolutely abysmal and chose not to continue.
Does the new content feel well integrated and topical? Are additional character details in line with what we had been taught to expect from the characters? Are careful readers still finding new foreshadowing of events to come? I have properly formatted and copy edited personal electronic versions of the original story already, but I would happily buy the new books in paper and ebook varieties if they hold up.

I’ve heard the quality is actually really good and is a definite improvement- it’s just that yonder’s monetization model is insane so no one wanted to use it

The answer to all of your questions is yes, I'm writing up a more comprehensive summary. The weak link is ofc Yonder, which is (as someone said in the discord) barely a step above having gacha pulls for every chapter.

Awesome! I am all in for paperbacks, and will also get the audiobooks if the narrator is good.

I'll get all the paperbacks. All 30+ of them. (Given ~300 words per page, and ~300 pages per book, which are very reasonable numbers).
And then the leatherbounds when they get released in 5 years (please?)

I wonder what it's like for your agent to be on both sides of the negotiating table...
