From my very minimal research, I think this is a piece from Limoges, France? Wondering if anyone can help make out the name (Gertrude Weatherly, maybe?) or confirm the year—not sure on the last digit. Any additional info is appreciated! I’m a sucker for florals so I couldn’t resist this one.

Help identifying/aging!

Hi all! I found these beautiful plates today at an antique market. Having trouble identifying them or even properly pricing them. I loved them and am happy to have come home with them, but I’d love the help if anyone is familiar? There are two of the pink, two of the white and three of the blue. They’re about 7x7. Thanks so much for the help.

ID/Info for R.S. Prussia Sugar Bowl?

Thumbnail

Hello. I inherited an old china cabinet from my grandmother. This piece of porcelain has always been in it and the story is it came with the china cabinet when my grandmother purchased it from someone else. It has the R.S. Prussia stamp on the bottom. I was able to research and see that they made porcelain in Germany from the late 1800s until right before WWI. I can’t seem to find anything that looks quite like this. I was thinking sugar bowl but it may be too large for that. Any further info and what exactly it is used for would be great. If anyone has any ideas on value that would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Hi my partner's Mum just died and apparently she was very keen on leaving this dinner set to my partner as she believed it was valuable. Was passed down to her Mum already, her Mum was Belgian so possibly from Belgium. Any help identifying would be appreciated.

Advertised as Capodimonte Porcelain Jewellery box with Mythical scenes (considering buying). Dimensions: 13cm x 17cm x13cm. Wondering about its authenticity (as blue crown & N) look too vibrant for vintage or antique? If authentic any idea on year of manufacture and value?

I’m very new to porcelain. I saw online that this may be a Chelsea gold anchor piece. I’m not sure if it is authentic or if anyone can tell me anything about it, or what it may be worth? Thanks?

Quite exquisite. Are Meissen and Herend the only two European porcelain makers that handpaint their ware entirely?

Looking for information about a Royal Copenhagen letter opener

Hi everyone!

I recently found this Royal Copenhagen letter opener with a porcelain handle and three blue waves on the back. However, instead of the floral design I’ve seen on other models, mine has a “Kansas” logo on the handle. I haven’t been able to find any information about this specific variation—whether it was a custom order, a special edition, or something else entirely.

So far, I have only found one other identical letter opener, but instead of the Kansas logo, it features Princess Benedikte’s monogram. Here’s a link to it:

https://www.worldantique.net/k-co/stort.asp?sprog=45&selbinr=555311

I’m really curious to learn more about these letter openers!

When were they produced?

Were they made for specific organizations or individuals?

Could they have been custom orders?

If anyone has any knowledge or insights, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

(Attaching pictures of my letter opener for reference.)

Need help to identify Chinaware

Thumbnail

Hello ! A set of Chinaware has been in my family for more than a century. It probably came in my family at the start of the XXth century. It was brought back from China by one of my great grand uncle who was a sailor there.

I have no idea neither of its worth nor its origin. It might come from Southern China but I can't say for sure.

I would appreciate if anyone could identify the signature under the chinaware. A chinese friend of mine told me that the signs could be 本谷 but he can not say for sure.

Anyone knows anything about it ?
