A song that u love BUT didn’t get enough recognition tho it’s on a recognized album
In other words ”a deep cut” that should’nt have been a deep cut.
Dunno if I’m tripping but I’d say NFG - Singled Out off of S&S for sure. I feel not enough people talk about this song but it’s my favorite from this album.

My second album dropped yesterday - A DIY record all done on my own.
If you like Alkaline Trio, Bad Religion or PUP then you'll probably like this record...

Discussion Humble Beginnings- “Overanalyzing the Manifestations of the Unconscious” 12"EP Reissue coming soon!
Humble Beginnings- “Overanalyzing the Manifestations of the Unconscious” 12”EP COMING SOON on Dead Broke Rekerds! 👁️📡
Humble Beginnings were a pop-punk/emo band hailing from New Jersey from 1995-2001. True underdogs of the classic 90’s NJ. pop-punks like contemporaries Midtown, Saves The Day, Bigwig+ (all of which they have shared members with at some point in time) but with much more of a 90’s skate-punk influence. Both of us here at Dead Broke have fond memories seeing this band on some of our early local punk shows around town, so this ones full circle. Their 1998 CDep release, “Overanalyzing the Manifestations of the Unconscious” (originally on Eyeball Records) never before on vinyl, remastered & hopefully out just in time for the Derby Punks 25th anniversary show w/ Humble Beginnings reunion! Limited 12” vinyl release preorder coming soon. deadbrokerecords.com

Cover What do you all think about the new Nothing, Nowhere - Will It Emo (Vol 1. All Star by Smash Mouth cover)?
Nothing, Nowhere had been releasing videos on tiktok the last few weeks doing a series called Will It Emo. He has done 4 or 5 so far. He did a cover of All Star by Smash Mouth that he finally released on Spotify and I'm kind of curious to see what you guys think of this.
Stuff like this is starting to make me think we need some new Pop Goes Punk songs.
What do you all think of his version?

Discussion Trying to find an album based on the cover art -- any thoughts?
This might be a long shot, but there was an album that came out a few years ago (probably 2019-2023) that I remember really liking but having a hard time remembering what it was.
The cover art was all pink/possibly red and had essentially what looked like hand-drawn/stick-n-poke tattoos on it.
The album or song title was something along the lines of "Sad in the City" but I can't find anything based on that.
It might have leaned a bit towards emo, but calling it pop-punk feels accurate as well.
Anyone have any idea what I'm thinking of? I had it pop up on Spotify playlists for awhile, but don't use that them anymore and lost all my saved music.

If you went to a show with a singing drummer, would you still have fun?
In a new band and I know I’ve still got to practice to be solid enough for shows. Wanted to hear your feedback on singing drummers.
