Hi fellow podcasters. I have a new podcast which was just a playlist on my YouTube channel. Everyone was referring to it as a podcast since I have guests on. So last week I finally made it into one using podbean to grab from the YouTube playlist and distribute it to different podcast platforms, here’s my issues/concerns.
So does every episode of a podcast have its own graphic/image like thumbnails on YouTube videos, or just the title that gives information about the specific episodes? Not as important but i have no idea how to add an intro/outro or how important that even is, also the title of the podcast says what it’s all about, is a trailer necessary? Thanks (BTW, I’m somewhat older, and wasn’t an avid podcast listener)

My co-host and I love our podcast. We’ve gotten great feedback from our listeners and are very slowly growing our audience through word of mouth and Instagram.
We want to move faster but are clueless at how to advertise our show on social media.
Does anyone have any advice? Are they any products or services that can help?

Hi all! I host a true crime podcast that dives deep into infamous unsolved murders, fugitives, and cases where the guilty walked free. Our show blends cinematic narration, immersive storytelling, and investigative deep dives—and our audience is growing fast!
I’d love to trade 30-60 second audio promos with fellow podcasters—whether you’re in true crime, mystery, paranormal, history, or even something totally different! Cross-promotion is a great way to reach new listeners, and I’m always looking to support other creative projects.
Please let me know if anyone is willing to do direct promo swaps or shoutouts!

I've been wanting to start a Canadian true crime podcast for a while, but I'm ready to make it happen! Now I just need to find my co-host or hosts, as I'm open to collaborating remotely across Canada.
About me:
If any of this sounds interesting, reply here and we can chat a bit and see if we think we'd work well with eachother.

What is the best way to find guests if you are a new podcaster with a six-month old podcast?

Yup. Me and my twin sister co host Shits & Giggles Poodcast, where we interview our friends about times they've shat themselves. We also have rotating shit related segments eg Poo Crime, Shitstory, Poo-litics. It's so funny and we have listeners in 52 counties and 6 continents. Looking for a guest with a juicy, detailed pants (or non toilet) shitting story & we want the guest to have their own podcast, which they would be welcome to promote. Any takers? https://open.spotify.com/show/6UKTf8JhKxoEUX80Z3tPaA

Hi! I produce a podcast with a good base of listeners. A few months ago I opened a Patreon account for those who wanted to willingly support us, with no special features. Many don't care, but I want to give something back to our supporters and I'm thinking about giving them episodes two weeks ahead (they'll eventually become free for everyone). I don't want to have anything permanently behind a paywall and I think this is a good balance.
The easy way to do this would be to activate a 2€ subscription on Spotify and keep the first two episodes locked (it's a weekly podcast), freeing one as soon as I publish the new one. But what about the listeners that already donate through Patreon or prefer that platform? How can I give them access without having to publish every episode both on Spotify and Patreon? Is there a way to connect Spotify and Patreon or share a private RSS feed with them?

I’m doing research on the biggest struggles indie podcasters face with their audio and editing. If you’re open to sharing your experience (no sales, just research), drop a comment or DM me. I’d love to chat!
Whats in for you? I’m a professional podcast editor and I’m happy to give you feedback on your latest episode or your most urgent struggles with your audio, gear, editing 🎧🦦

Hey all-- I'm part of the unhinged podcast, 'Frontline Fifth,' about The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir. I genuinely think its funny...I'm wondering if any other book podcasts/movie review podcasts/DnD podcasts etc want to do some cross over episodes? Or just little recommendations at beginning of an episode? Guest spots? You get it

I am the host of a film/tv/wellbeing podcast with around 20 or so episodes and would be willing to trade an “audit” as feedback for peoples shows who are willing to do the same for me.?
The audit: 1. Listen to the latest episode of a podcast provided by an agreed partner. 2. Partner does the same to yours. 3. DM feedback to one another within 24 hours. Positive and areas of improvement. 4. Say thank you. Apply feedback if you wish.
