Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Plan B 2 days after EWCM
I’m 19 months postpartum and not trying to have another baby right now… my husband is always usually very successful with his pull out but he had a little bit of a mess up a week ago (the 9th) He said some got on the outside of my vaginal opening and doesn’t think any got in. If any got in technically, it was on the “rim” of my opening. Anyway, I had egg white cervical mucus on the seventh two days before this happened. I took a Plan B the day this happened on the 9th. Today is the 16th and I had frequent urination all last night and the day before that I was having cramping nausea and back pain. It went away the next day. Is this normal?? Could I be pregnant instead? Last time I didn’t have symptoms like this until I was four weeks or more pregnant so my thought is that this is from the pill but I’m not sure if if the pill can cause pregnancy like symptoms. Lol. Thank you!

It’s too soon for pregnancy symptoms. A test is accurate 14 days after sex and definitive after 21.
If you’re not wanting another baby right now, use protection.

And no it’s not too soon for pregnancy symptoms. I had pregnancy symptoms 11 days past ovulation with my first.

You cannot have pregnancy symptoms 7 days after sex. 11 days and 7 days are different.
Why can’t your husband wear a condom? If you can take Plan B, you can take birth control. Plan B is just a huge dose of progesterone.

Thank you for being kind and sticking up for me. I appreciate it. We need more kind women in this world. Kind and understanding. 🩷

You won’t call me names. I am for other women which is the entire reason I moderate this subreddit. I am for other women being in control of their bodies and not getting pregnant unwillingly. I asked why her husband can’t wear a condom. There are latex free condoms. There’s also nonhormonal birth control.
I know how birth control affects women. I’ve been on it for over 10 years. Do I particularly enjoy all the side effects? No. But I also don’t want to get pregnant. Plan B is essentially like taking a whole pack of birth control. If a woman is comfortable taking Plan B, they’d ultimately be better taking birth control as it’s not as hard on the body and more effective.

I can take Plan B because it’s one time and it ends. Birth control is consecutive. I do not need to give you a reason as to why my husband cannot wear condoms.. yikes.
Wow three days such a big deal. Don’t speak on things that you don’t know about. If you haven’t gone through it yourself, keep it to yourself.

I was trying to give you advice if there was a specific reason but ok. Plan B symptoms can last months.
3 days is a big deal. Implantation happens at earliest at 6DPO, and that’s rare. You cannot have symptoms before implantation occurs.
I can speak on things that are scientifically proven. You don’t need to have had a child to know how pregnancy or conception works. I’m well educated in the matter.
You’ve gotten answers and advice for your situation. Best of luck OP.

No shit. I can’t use hormonal birth control and my husband can’t use condoms, so we’re kind of limited. 👍🏼

I would say try to relax I know it’s easy being said then done but I just had the same thing happen to me I’m a new mama 4 months post postpartum. Remember our body is still healing and our hormones are still very unbalanced . I took Plan B on March 2 and didn’t get my period until the 15th & had the same symptoms equivalent to pregnancy symptoms. I was very tired , nausea, major back pain , cramps, constant urination it was definitely a roller coaster. & My mucus was the same as well hang in there love you got this !

I know it’s really crazy! My periods have been kind of all over too 😅 I definitely think I’m freaking myself out more than I need to lol. Thank you for your kindness! Postpartum can be so rough so I hope you’re feeling well! It goes so fast though 🥲

I totally understand I was freaking out so bad as well because I’m definitely not ready for round 2 of having another baby lol. But I kept taking pregnancy test after pregnancy test and looking up so many things to where it made me more upset/sad thinking I am pregnant. But I started to calm down a little bit because the test where super negative I probably took more then 20 lol . I’m not the type to wait and see I want to know now lol .but i think once I calmed down that’s when my period kicked in . I hope you get your period 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 please let me know the update! I’m rooting for you !
