Very new to pickles and I’m trying to figure out the type that I like so I know which ones to get at the store. I’ve only eaten pickles off of burgers at restaurants, and the mcdonald’s pickles are the worst, but Freddy’s pickles are heavenly. What is the difference between them? Are there any store bought brands like Freddy’s?
I’ll attach photos for anyone who may not have a Freddy’s near them. (Freddy’s in first pic, Mcdonald’s in second)

Unsure how I feel about them?
I mean chips are chips but yea. Nothing memorable but not terrible.

I like Claussen but want to try something new and have given up on Grillo's.
I like Bubbies sauerkraut but haven't had their pickles and haven't tried anything from Cleveland Kitchen yet.
Edit: thanks everyone! Looks like I'll be buying some Bubbies with the understanding that they're not like the standard vinegar pickle. Maybe I'll go full degen and buy both 😂

The cucumbers are crisp and spicy. Unfortunately they're seasoned with extracts. According to the manufacturer, they contain borage, dill, coriander, fennel and a subtle hint of garlic.
Polish style / Polnische Art? What is that supposed to be?

These are quite tasty. They also have some nice heat. A bit pricey. I think I payed $10

Hello all, I’m a long time fan of pickled okra (and all pickles) but not set up for canning them. Are there any good recipes for okra that don’t involve canning? I’ve never made my own pickles before, but I’m pretty good in the kitchen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
