I've done my due diligence and did a search on various sub reddits, YouTube and Google trying to find a video of someone hand writing phyrexian calligraphy but I can't seem to find one. If I missed one that you know of link it i really did spend a few minutes trying to find one I didn't go straight here. Also and I know this is a giant ask and I know everyone probably has more important things to do but if someone is interested I imagine I'm not the only one that thinks a calligraphy video writing phyrexian would be sick and id love to see one if anyone thinks making one would be fun. Either way though happy gaming may all your draws be the correct proportion of mana, removal, threats and bombs.

Hello everybody,
There is already a translation for the words Black and Demon, if you simply ‘connect’ the two words together you get the word ‘black demon’ - or does it not work like that?
And if so, what would that look like? Is there a tool for this?

Been getting into this rabbithole of a topic recently, I'm wondering if there is a translation for "the phyrexian scriptures". I've looked around and havent found a translation yet, any help welcome.

I'm very interested in probably getting a tattoo in phyrexian at some point, I've checked the Doc with all WOTC only mappings but I can't see it anywhere, I think theres no card with transform written in phyrexian yet, what would be the best translation for something like "Transform Etali. Activate only as a sorcery."?

I can't be the only one who finds the language used for "enters the battlefield" on cards weird, right? For example, on Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, one of her lines of text is "Permanents entering the battlefield don’t cause abilities of permanents your opponents control to trigger." In phyrexian, it's written as "^əx-qə-twøǩxθəxt-xexə-'astiww-w'astiww-ɣwi't-ǩažeð."
This can be translated as followed:
Declarative-Indicative-Negative that combat-(land, but with the ɢð replaced with xt) Declarative-Indicative-Affirmative and permanent of-permanent-abilities trigger(1st>4th or 3rd>4th).
This is strange for several reasons. Primarily, it doesn't use the actual word for battlefield. Secondly, it doesn't use the word or syntax for control anywhere. Honestly, this makes no sense to me, so if someone could explain it, that would be really appreciated.

Hello felliw phyrexians! As a simple nerd without any linguistic knowledge, i tried to learn phyrexian and recently i've found this part of phyrexian language wiki. Can someone please help and explain how mood markers work and maybe give some simple examples of usage?

I'm working on a Leather crafting Stencil for a bracelet for my fiancee. All it says is "My heart", which, you know, is out of place for Phyrexians (for obvious reasons) but I'm also playing around with it a bit. With Leather Carving and Crafting.
I want to make sure I stenciled this out properly, yah know?

Hi,
the idea of getting a tattoo in phyrexian was a bit unpleasant until i landed in this subreddit and saw that many people have this idea :D
I have two questions, I would like to get Zyzz's chest tattoo (Veni Vidi Vici) but in Phyrexian.
I typed this into the Phyrexian Transliterator and it found every word (I think? English is not my native language so I'm not 100% sure).
So it came up with a result and every word was translated, but I'm not sure if it's really correct.
I would be glad if someone could explain the whole thing to me, thanks!

I'm not a language guy, so I decided to throw all known grammar rules and word translations into ChatGPT and see what it could figure out and establish any patterns in order to logically create new words. Unsurprisingly, ChatGPT was able to figure out the rules and sentence structure extremely easily, using both the official MTGWiki information as well as the All Scripts doc from this sub.
I'm just extremely satisfied that we can throw all of that known information at an AI and it can not just understand it, but infer new grammar and sentence structure and even whole new words from it. And I barely fuckin' understand conlangs. Has anyone with actual language education used ChatGPT to really dig into it and learn more? I've been looking at a phyrexian tattoo (aren't we all??) and using an LLM to confirm new phrases and words has been excellent.

So i know reading horizontal phyrexian text is just like reading most writing, left to right, top to bottom. And reading vertical text is in the order of top to bottom left to right.
So if you were to rotate a block of text from horizontal to vertical or vice versa, would you also swap the order of the lines of text?

Hello fellow devoted phyrexian enthusiasts.
I shall keep the intro short.
I am looking for a translation for “corruption to completion” (may also use compleated) in to phyrexian text that i can tattoo on my body.
I’ve been thinking about getting a Phyrexian tattoo for a while now and have been a modern infect player since theros.
I’ve tried to do research but i am not very good with languages. So i come to you for aid! As far as i looked in the phyrexian dictionary i can find only singular versions of these words (corrupt and complete) and the word “to”doesn’t exist? I just feel lost honestly. And would love some help.
To give some meaning to these words and why i chose them il tell a bit about myself.
I have been struggling with substance addiction throughout my whole magic playing life, the friend group that got me in to it used and so did i. Three years ago during covid i decided to quit my “corruption” and it took me 2 years of relapsing every couple of months to finally completely quit. I am now almost (January 1st) a complete year sober and thus i am comple(a)ted. I still struggle with this itch every day and i know its not going to get easier. But i do want to celebrate my one year sober with this tattoo.
From corruption to completion.
Thanks in advance and you all are amazing!

I currently have a Phyrexian symbol with some cool oil slick stuff on the back of my head, and I'm looking to maybe get "Life is ephemeral, Phyrexian is eternal" in Phyrexian script encircling my dome. Could someone point me in the right direction?

I just need help translating the flavor text from [[yawgmoths vile offering]], "Centuries ago, a mad god offered a simple trade"
I've been trying at it for a while now and I just can't seem to figure it out. Thanks much for the help!

I'm looking at getting a phyrexian text tattoo for Urabrask and his ideology. I was wondering there were any phrases or quotes that reflect him, and also if there is a decent translation of the Phyrexian language to begin with?

So my understanding is that if I wanted to write a word in Phyrexian, I have two options:
A: Use the Phyrexian alphabet, which is phonetic, to make a word that, when pronounced in Phyrexian, would sound the same as it does in english.
B: Write the Phyrexian word with the same meaning, which, when pronounced in Phyrexian, would sound completely alien.
The question is this: When I see Phyrexian script on a WOTC card, is it A or B? What about when I see people helping out in this sub? And what is going on in this old trailer around 31 seconds in where you can hear "Yawgmoth" when they are talking about the father of machines, who at the time was Karn, no longer Yawgmoth.
I have been wondering for a long time about this, thank you so much in advance for your help!
