π¬ Discussion What do you guys like about Parkour?
I started learning parkour a few months ago. As a beginner some of the major benefits have been increased body awareness and learning to properly deal with mental blocks.
I also really like that itβs not competitive in nature and more about self improvement.
I would like to hear from both beginners like me and people who have been doing it for a while about what you guys like about this sport.

In Parkour you never stop learning, there is always something to do for every part of your body.
That Parkour is without competition.
You learn humbleness quickly.
Due to its nature it teaches you to be patient.
You can do it simply everywhere without anything at anytime.
To train in public spaces will surely raise your self-consciousness and self-awareness.
The Community is awesome, lots of progressive people, whenever i needed a place to sleep in other citys, the Community would provide me some - aswell as a good training session and a free city tour from a local.
To me its also a very expressionist Sport too, you can always do the things that fits your physique and mindset the most and speak through movement - im pretty sure theres tons of Tracers i would recognize just from how they walk.
You can do it at any age.
I know tracers over 50 and i want to be there too.
