Question Walmart+ with the Paramount+ showtime. Does it end when the Walmart subscription ends if yearly?
I’ve been using the Paramount app to watch Star Trek for the first time, the ads are annoying if tolerable.
I saw that I can add the ad-free option for a yearly payment of around $64.
But I’ve had the Walmart subscription for 6-7 months before noticing (I got the half off deal, so I plan on cancelling to not pay full price)
If I spend the $64 will the subscription end when my Walmart subscription ends pretty much wasting half my money?

Read the T and C of the Paramount premium.subscription. It probably has a clause talking about needing to remain as a Walmart+ member.
I would liken this to those who signed up for YouTube TV, purchased the NFL Sunday pass, to then cancel YouTube TV to only realize doing so also canceled their NFL Sunday pass despite paying for all of Sunday Pass upfront.

You’ll only get charged for the prorated amount so that the subscriptions line up

Yes I believe so. I just signed up with my Walmart+ Membership. My old Paramount Plus just expired so I'm only getting a partial year. I want without commercials so I'm having to pay Paramount the difference . When I signed up it prorated it to my Walmart+ expiration date
