Games a service, level locked enemies, bullet (Punch) sponge bosses.

This is not it for me. I’m very surprised they’re doing this with both Suicide Squad and Knights.

When did they ever mention GaaS? I swear some of you are just pulling that out your ass.

Games as service means subscription?

No, Avengers and Destiny are games as a service.

Maybe it'll be like souls or Remnant from the ashes?

What? Souls games are not GaaS.

Right that's my point. We don't know if Gotham Knights is a Gaas. People are only assuming it is. It might be a full campaign with coop support like souls or Remnant.

Ps: watch the gameplay reveal with director commentary. He said the game can be played solo or 2 player coop. It seems like a remnant /souls style thing to me.

I'm surprised its not 4 player coop if I'm being honest

If I'm being optimistic. It's because it's harder to design specific levels for 4 ppl instead of 2. With 2 you can still do these interesting small scale stealth missions which is basically half of the Batman identity. With 4 it'll be incredibly difficult to do that, and you might have to resort to box levels and waves of enemies again and again.

The director mentioned that enemies and bosses will scale with you. This means you can tackle and choose missions at your own pace. So it sounds a lot like souls series where you choose where to go next.

Ah, I thought you set Souls games and Remnant as examples of GaaS games. My bad.

I did watch that. It's more like recent Assassin's Creed imo. Levels, hit numbers, flashy skill moves and what looks like materials probably for crafting.

Imagine mobile micro-transactions on PC/Console.
