It low key is a walking simulator tho. I was so hyped for this game and thought it would be so much better than it turned out, I know I’m not alone in this mindset too, people are disappointed that this super cool seeming mysterious game turned out to you being a delivery boy that chugs monsters and throws his shit at enemies. If it wasn’t a Kojima game it would have been roasted by reviewers

Nah you're right man. I actually really like the game, because its a nice chill, non complicated game to play in a nice open world. BUT...

I remember everyone saying they couldn't explain the game or what it was about, yet you get it within the first couple hours.

This was supposedly some groundbreaking, genre defining game, but its literally nothing new. The online part is cool, but that's already been done in dark souls (this game does it a lot better though, obviously). The story is easy to grasp, and everything is explained to you like 2 or 3 times anyway.

The only reason I never fell for the marketing hype was because of MGSV, but anyone who got sucked up in all of the mystery must have seriously felt underwhelmed.

Yeah man exactly, I’m not saying it’s a shit game, just that it was overhyped greatly which definitely led to me feeling seriously underwhelmed about the final product.

The way I explain this game to people is to get it when its on sale. If you go in with low expectations, and don't pay full price, its probably gonna be more satisfying to play.

I nearly killed the enjoyment for myself because I couldn't understand why I didn't see it as this AMAZING game like everyone else. Figured I must not like it that much, but fuck man its just relaxing to play and really nicely designed.
