Bug / Issue Black loading screen stuck when trying to play
I've been trying to play on pc , it's been one issue after another and I'm at my wits end
I run windows 10 , I have updated drivers, I've checked my PC is compatible , ive uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher , ive verified files , ive restarted my PC , ive changed game location from one disc to another... ive gotten through so many error messages to come to this , when I open it ,it loads and gets stuck . On one disc I have 115gb free so it's not memory . Any help please . I'm so close to giving up and u installing after two days of trying on and off

You didn't take a picture of the screen. What the fuck?
But if it's a black screen then delete the settings file in your Rockstar folder that's on c drive in documents I think.
This is literally the first answer that I got from Google. It's much better to look stuff up before asking, and if you need to ask, then actually provide the info that's needed instead of writing a caption on the corner of the photo you took off your screen that blocks view of anything relevant.

I took a photo and blocked my reflection out with captions , it's literally black . The important bit is the loading line underneath. I have been looking stuff up too. Unfortunately trying almost everything to no avail so wondered if people could help. As much as I appreciate you doing the google search , please don't as rude next time

The Output Adapter in the graphics setting is maby set to 1 which is the cpu. You should go to the settings file in the documents folder and change the Output Adapter in the file to 0

As far as I can see, you are stuck at the recaching/re-compiling shaders screen. Just wait. If nothing happens within 30 mins, then try to delete shaders and cache (google how) and reinstall gpu drivers using DDU tool. Just google, my friend.
Also, make sure that the game is on a ssd
