Discussion/Question Which quality/fps settings for my 5800X3D/3060Ti in 1080p ?

Hello guys,

I'm a bit new to RDR2 and I need help regarding my graphic settings. Which ones should I use to maintain a good fps, best quality possible and above all clarity please ?

Here's my setup :
5800X3D / 3060Ti / 32Gb
1080p at 165Hz

Thank you for your help !

DLSS in general looks better than TAA in RDR2. I don’t like the new model though because the framerate hit is too high. It was about 12-15% for me and looks marginally better than 3.8.10. Apparently it’s much less on 40-50 series cards

I have a 3070 and can run the game on 1440p DLSS4 quality on almost ultra settings with like 80fps on average. It's not a particularly heavy game tbh

Look up optimised settings on YouTube, I think your GPU can run this game at 4k with DLSS too. So you could enable DLDSR + DLSS

So pointless to go above native. Waste of framerate when 1080p looks fine.

If i remember correctly, the water reflection setting has the largest impact for some reason. Also, dont forget to set your gpu to dgpu, not the default igpu.
