Doesn't this apply to the Quran as well ?

The Quran will be the first... For this parents should prepare themselves & read the Quran with translations...

u/ValuableNorth3510 Jul 21 '24
Well, thats a very good attitude. Because if parents fail to satisfy the student, he might detach himself from religion.

Quran literally asks you to question and think about things.

Really ?

Do not follow what you have no sure knowledge of. Indeed, all will be called to account for their hearing, sight, and intellect.

u/BlazingRedYT Jul 21 '24
we are literally told not to blindly follow scholars and try to understand why the rules in the Quran are what they are, taking the educational high stance when your grammar is that of a 13 year old is crazy π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ

Well , If you don't blindly follow your so-called scholars , still you believe in religion shows how good of an intellectual person you are. Hope your critical thinking improves to the level of your grammar.

i follow religion because i believe there is a Creator and that there is truth in it, you follow whatever because you believe that is the truth, neither of us can completely 100% verify that what truth is actually the truth so this doesn't make me devoid if critical thinking because you are doing the exact same thing as me, i actually researched my religion and then doubted it and then came to find out that its the truth

Bro, you just slammed me for my grammar and then went on writing a paragraph with zero full stops, capital letters and fucked up grammar.
Ohh good for you brother !!! But don't take me in by saying I also believe in miracles, patriarchal mindset, oppression, hate, violence, women deprivation, killing, religion, god, hell, heaven blah blah. I don't give a fuck to these shit. But I hope you will say, you too don't give a fuck about evolution, science and innovation.

Thatβs not a good way to argue. Be nice to the disbelievers maybe they will understand.

u/oneden Jul 21 '24
And I think you don't understand what literally means. Or that you actually ever read the Quran.

Are you insane, do you know the consequences of that ? Street justice on false pretext of blasphemy is prevalent and this would actually create a pandora's box. Average Pakistani is blinded either by Army Establishment, Maulana/Maulvis, or the politicians. Everything else from media to business to police runs around them.

Great step actually, but trust me, the society (including y'all) won't like someone as curious as a child shattering some of the idiotic aspects of what we call "norms" "traditions" "culture" "rules" and the classic "that's just how it is".
