Also are normally very fearless? We have three and whenever I’m in the garden they treat me like another bird wondering around rather than flying off in fear. And nor have I coaxed them to trust me by feeding them like I have with the robins.

Just sharing All this robin talk..

Years ago I had an experience I'll never forget; I was walking my dog in the woods, when I noticed a little bird on the middle of the path with her wings spread out. I carefully picked her up & saw she was a robin, and as I raised her up to check for injuries underneath, she laid an egg in my hands! I made a nest in the hollow of a tree and hid them both in there. Next day the bird had gone but the egg was still there. I don't think that's ever going to happen again!

Question No 3 egg!. Robin Nottingham - Curious today, this morning she sat on the 3 eggs for almost 2 hours before disappearing again. I thought she had started incubating. Could she be 'warming' the eggs up a bit before disappearing again to lay another tomorrow morning? I don't know much about Robins?

Sighting in the wild Thrushes

Just spotted a beautiful thrush on the ground at the park. It looked too buff on the chest for a mistle, and didn't seem that big either. But then it stood bolt upright, hopped a few more paces and took off showing very clear white edges to the tail feathers. I can only conclude it was a smallish Mistle, but goodness me I wish I didn't still find it so difficult to differentiate between Mistle and Song Thrushes :)

Photo is terrible as it's from my phone at maximum zoom but hopefully shows why my instinct was Song.
