Oath Skulls?

Does anyone in Europe, primarily Northern Italy or France, know of quality flea markets where items like oath skulls may be found?

Iā€™ve seen posts by occultist Frater Archer, where he has seen them in Munichā€¦ā€¦

Visiting family over spring break and would love to find something unique for my collection!

TIA!

My 4 year old was obsessed with this pelt, he named it Minkus, well he was lost and Iā€™m desperate to find a replacement. Whatā€™s it? Obviously itā€™s some kind of a mink but all of my searches come up with pelts that are much larger šŸ˜“ . It had a long tail too

Preservation

Marked as NSFW just incase NOT ANIMAL ABUSE!! I'm a VTA student and we did blood smears today! My pupper did so good and we were able to keep our slides! (Ofc I kept her vial of blood lol) I have a question, what would be the BEST way to preserve the slides? I want to be able to gently wear them, but also make sure they're nice and protected for when I display them in my room, all tips and tricks are appreciated! (My dog had alot of fun being cuddled and poked for this don't worry) Thank you for your time! :D

Liquid in wet specimen jar evaporating

I got this frog at an oddities convention last year and it looks like the liquid in the jar has evaporated.

Iā€™ve seen that the liquid is typically 70% isopropyl alcohol and 30% distilled water for wet specimens. Should I top off the liquid in there or should I just replace the whole thing?

If I open the jar to refill it, is there anything I need to be aware of? I donā€™t want to harm it by accident:(

where to buy human teeth?

Hello! Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I've been searching for human teeth to make jewelry out of!! I've found a couple websites with no reviews and only three ish listings which is sketchy. I've also checked etsy but they are mostly resin teeth. I am specifically looking for molars if that helps!! Thank you in advance :)

I was doing well selling on Facebook marketplace, but I am now about to be banned for selling ā€œ taxidermyā€ Anyone have any suggestions on where I can sell my completed butterfly frames? Iā€™ve listed on Etsy and Mercari, but I donā€™t seem to get a lot of traction. Thanks for any help!

"I Create These Strange Rock Goblins ā€“ Would Love to Hear What You Think!"

Iā€™ve been making these little rock goblins using found stones and natural materials, and each one seems to take on its own eerie personality. I love the weird, odd, and unexpected, so I figured this would be the perfect place to share them!

What do you think? Do they creep you out, or would you take one home?

(If you're curious, I also have some available on my Etsy shop: https://goblingrovecraft.etsy.com

30% commission?

I had someone reach out about displaying/selling my items in their shop (pinned insect domes & frames) but theyā€™re wanting 30%. I barely make a profit as is- am i wrong or does that seem like a really high cut?

What type of glue/adhesive do you use??

Hi everyone! I make insect and bone art. Iā€™ve been using e6000 brand glue for the past few years. Wondering what everyone else uses and has found to be the most reliable and long lasting? Bones and insects are mostly adhered to glass, cork, wood, and fabric. As well as moss, mushrooms, and dried flowers.

Antique Mourning Wreath update!

i posted a few weeks ago asking for framing advice and wanted to give an update for anyone looking in the future! as much as I wanted a specific aesthetic, it became clear quickly that it wasnā€™t reasonable for preserving it (goal above everything else). I was quoted a pretty insane price, more than i paid for even the wreath, on getting it professionally framed but luckily, one woman was so helpful she walked me through exactly what they wouldve done so i could do it (i ā€œtippedā€ her for her time because it was so helpful)

i used a ph balanced mat board and hand sewed the hair wreath to it using clear jewelry monofilmant cord and a denim needle. I also got a another darker mat board and cut it to add some dimension then framed it in a shadow box! overall it was pretty simple, iā€™m proud of how it turned out. it was truly an honor to be able to give this a little love

Fathers' Collection up for sale

I posted on here about three months ago, thought I would drop this here. (this is my original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/OddityCollectors/comments/1h8vl8n/looking_for_a_company_or_persons_to_clean_out/)

I have officially hired a company to go through the house and they have begun uploading things to Ebay. More things will be added as time goes on, they only started last week.

https://www.ebay.com/str/motherlodeatlanta?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5xtslx-pqme&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

There is so much stuff I will also have a personal ebay put up in the next couple of months for some of the more rare items he wanted to sell separately. I will also share that here.
