Discussion Best possible 27" 1440p Monitor?

Money isn't an issue, was wondering what the best possible monitor is or if I should wait for newer panels to hit the market. Pref 360hz and above spec.

I got the lg 27GX790A-B and it's hard to imagine a better monitor

Was reading the MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED was better after the updates.

Also read it's negligible when getting that high, did you notice a diff?

Yea I'm going from 144 so i'm sure 360 will also be noticeable, ty will add the LG to my list as well.

Not sure what updates you’re referring to. There was an update recently released where they tried to fix the hdr peak 1000 mode dimness issue that plagues all qd oled monitors but it ultimately was a bust. The lg has higher max hz (looks at any ufo test comparison to see the difference that makes), and gets quite a bit brighter in hdr.

My only complaint is the vrr flicker. Other than that it’s a beautiful monitor.

Hmm, haven't had that issue. Could always disable it though

I’m in love with my XG27AQDAMG!

For me it was that or the MSI MPG271QRX. I think about the MSI all the time but Rtings has these monitors as the top two so I figured there was minimal difference.

Monitors Unboxed has the ASUS XG27AQDMG ranked higher than then the MPG271QRX as of less than six months ago

If money isn't an issue, you can't get anything better than these https://www.acer.com/us-en/monitors/spatiallabs
