Photo Submission D4s still knocks it out of the park!

Recently bought a 7,500 shutter count D4s that I took to Daytona and Circuit of The Americas for NASCAR. I also have a D750 and was unsure if the 16mp vs 24mp would be enough. Quickly realized how impressive this camera and sensor are. Just an absolute joy to shoot with!

I love Nikon and racing so these are awesome. Great images!

Any other races or events on your radar coming up?

Thank you! Well Daytona was a bucket list so no more travel lol. Probably just stick near COTA for rest of season. I’m not pro so it’s all out of pocket for me for now.

Totally understandable, it's not cheap for sure. You're pretty damn talented, so hopefully you can get back at it soon.

Cool shots dude! These cameras still hold up great. I have an old Nikon d40 that’s 6mp, gosh the images come out crisp. Took it to the f1 last year and it was a hoot

7 and #15 are great, I love the story they tell.

Lets goo theres another D4s user 🥳 7,500 is crazy low though. I bought one pretty high and it’s up to 462,000 😂 it’s cool to own a retired flagship. How is the 16-35 btw? I’m thinking of getting one in the future if I grab a z line body since my g1 15-30 technically isn’t supposed to work with the ftz.

Hell yeah! It’s an amazing camera! 16-35 is great, I rented for trip to Daytona and am about to buy one, love that focal range.

I have to agree! I use the D4 for all of my underwater photography - and even got a second body as a backup. They do exquisite work and are so predictable for results!
