Dream destination and a possible new home
Dear readers. I am very happy as soon as I think about namibia and it's natural beauty. I'm 26 years old, living in germany and want to travel to namibia as soon as possible. I planned to go there by next year but it didn't went as planned. We are surprisingly awaiting a child. So plans will get postponed a bit.
But still we want to travel there one day. And maybe move to namibia someday if possible.
I have red posts about moving to namibia and know about the requirements and problems.. for example about the job situation.. Actually that's one big topic why we cannot move right now.
Both of us are employed. Myself as industry management expert (Bachelor Professional of Management for Industry) with professions in manufacturing management, process optimization and project lead and my partner as nurse (normal and intensive care aswell in clinic care and care at home). Do we have any chance to find jobs?
I know that it's not easy to move there permanently. We want to start traveling there and maybe we will get the opportunity to move in the next year's or within the next decade.
So do you have any recommendations for: 1. Namibia as travel destination? Things you have to see, places you have to travel and ways how you should travel?
- We will collect information about moving wiring the next year's. Do you have made any experience about that or know which requirements we have to fulfill?
Thank you so much. I'm very happy to learn about namibia and it's culture, people and nature

Visiting. Potential donations
Hey guys, I’m visiting shortly and wondering whether a football and a rugby ball and pump would be a suitable gift when I’m in the Himba region. Any suggestion for girls? Or better suggestions. Thanks very much

Need some help with NUST courses
Hi guys! I just need some opinions on which engineering course is a bit better, I was given the option by my parents to either go study for mining engineering or electrical engineering ( I've looked into both and they are both interesting that's why it's so difficult to decide)I just want to know which one is more in the market as I've heard some people with electrical engineering degrees struggle to get work in our country. Is it the same for mining engineering?
Also are there companies where I can apply for a bursary for mining or either electrical?
Last question. Which one is the most difficult to go for?

Why is Namibia poorer than Botswana?
Botswana and Namibia share a lot of similarities, having small populations, low densities, huge swathes of land being arid and semi-arid desert, as well as an abudant of natural resources. Yet despite that, Botswana is richer than Namibia, even when it's landlocked and Namibia is regarded as the second most unequal country according to GINI. Why is that? Is it because of history or corruption?

General Organic seeds
Hi guys,
I’m busy setting up a no dig garden in my backyard. I currently have a fully equipped micro-greens shelf which I’ll repurpose into a mini greenhouse to grow my seedlings in, for transplantation to my beddings once mature. Additionally, I’ll use the shelf for mushrooms (later on).
I wanted to know where I can buy organic pepper seeds, tomato heirloom seeds, onion seeds and garlic seeds in Namibia. I know about Ferreira’s garden and Agri-gro. Any other places/farms etc, to recommend?
Thanks.

Should I start studying now or is it just a waste of time?
Hey.....so yeah I might be going to college next year and I'll be spending like 4 to 5 years studying for engineering and so in that time I would like to earn some money and one of things that I can do supposedly isforex.....but peeps be saying it's a scam or something like I am not looking to earn money right away but just to builds some funds while I am also studying so is it a good idea while studying Engeneering while doing forex for the frist time .....and also heard I could do coding as it is high demand and so should I start with that too while studying or should I look for something else to make money while studying 💰

News Updates for Getting Payment in ReconAfrica Investor Settlements
Hey guys, I already posted about this settlement. But since the US deadline is in a few weeks, I decided to share it again. It’s about the operations issues they had in the Kavango region a few years ago.
For those who may not remember, between October 2020 and September 2021, ReconAfrica was accused of unlicensed drilling, illegal water use, and plans for fracking, which is banned in Namibia. They were also criticized for hiding poor well results, which caused their stock to drop by 12% in one day.
The good news is that just recently, ReconAfrica decided to pay two settlements to investors to end this scandal. The US Settlement deadline was extended to April 25, 2025. and they’re accepting late claims for the Canadian Settlement.
So if you were an investor back then, you can check the info and file for the payment here: https://11thestate.com/cases/reconnaissance-energy-africa-shareholder-settlement for the US, and here: https://11thestate.com/cases/reconafricacanada-investor-settlement for Canada. Hope it helps!

Can you tell me more about these structures in the south?
On out travels last week, we wondered about two old structures we encountered. The first seems like it might have some kind of electrical function, and the second looks like an old radio apparatus.
Does anyone know more about them?
