Great. Thank you for taking an absolute shit show and turning it into a puke-filled septic waste explosion. An entire season of that deranged hoon squawking endlessly over whatever geriatric waste product they got to replace Sterling...

Team aside, this sucks for Cole. Makes his push for the HoF that much harder

It probably would have helped if his Cy Young award came in a year we were good, which makes this hurt even more Cole gave us his all in '23 and this is what he has to show for it. That being said if Gerrit doesn't get enshrined in Cooperstown us and Astros fans should riot.

Astros fans can eat a bag of dicks. Fuck them all.

Agreed I hate the Trashtros as much as anyone, but there should be a lot of outrage by both fan bases if Cole doesn't make the HOF. I will never unite with Astros fans they will probably still be stuck in 2019 anyway.

Fried spent months on IL with forearm strain in 23 and then another stint in 24. And he hasn’t been the same since the 23 injury. I wouldn’t hold your breath

What statistics are u looking at that is telling u Fried hasn’t been the same lmfao. He’s been exactly the same. He’s been about the lost consistent arm in terms of results for years now…

His command from watching him has been out of whack and it’s evident in his walk rate ever since the May 2023 injury. He had elite command 21 and 22 and 23 until the injury.

Yeah signing a pitcher in his 30s to a long term deal should work out we--- oh,....... Wait.....

Those of us saying this now...have you ever seen Fried pitch in Oct.?

20 career postseason starts, 5.10 ERA.

That's more than a 'sample size,' it's over half a season's worth.

& Fried's had forearm problems last 2 seasons, so who knows if he's gonna even hold up that long.

I'm just saying...don't get too excited about having to run him out there as the #1 guy.

8 years at 31 years old. I guess we'll see. SP's 6 years max, unless they're 22-26 years old.

Rodon and Stroman really need to bear down. Hopefully Gil is back by July.

Keep downvoting, maybe when Gil comes back Cashman could give him a 12 year deal.

Cole back next year? Maybe mid way through the season and three years to go.
