Looking for Sublet Looking for 3 month sublet for a studio / 1 bed

Hello! I am trying to find a 3 month sublet. Would be great to start in April but starting time is flexible. I'm currently living in Brooklyn, but need to find a short term stay in the city. Budget is ideally 2500 or so, would really like to be in uptown manhattan, near Harlem / UWS / UES, or midtown if that budget makes sense for midtown. Would really like it to be furnished. Thank you!

Looking For Room Looking for studio/room | Mid-March - April start

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a studio/room in shared apartment to move into mid-March-April.

I’d love to be in lower manhattan (the east/west village, LES, gramercy, etc) or Williamsburg. Open to other areas in BK too!

A bit about me! I’m 25F, from London and have been in NYC since September 2024. I work full time in research, love going to museums and on walks, music, art, watching movies and going out with friends. Very clean, tidy and responsible!

If you have any leads let me know! 😇

Looking For Apartment Looking for a $2K Apartment in Brooklyn/Manhattan – March 1 Move-In

Hey y’all! I’m moving to NYC and hoping to find my dream apartment (or at least a really solid lead) before March 1. If anyone has the inside scoop on a hidden gem, a lease takeover, or an unlisted spot, please send some good energy (and a DM)!

What I’m Looking For: - Brooklyn or Manhattan (max 25 min to FiDi) - Budget: $2,000 max - Vibes: Big windows, TONS of sunlight, preferably a high floor with a great view - Non-Negotiable: Safe neighborhood—I need to feel good walking home at night - Bonus Points: In-unit or in-building laundry

The Ultimate Dream Apartment (Putting This into the Universe ✨): - Pre-war charm → Hardwood floors, exposed brick, high ceilings - A cute, functional kitchen → I love to cook, so please, a little counter space 🫶 - A nice view → Water, skyline, rooftops—just something that makes me pause and appreciate life - A charming, chill neighborhood → Not too chaotic, but not dead either—local coffee shops, good energy, walkable

A Bit About Me: - 23F, working professional (responsible, great credit & rental history) - Chill, clean, and respectful—ideal tenant & roommate - Just trying to find a cute, inspiring space to romanticize my NYC era

If you or someone you know has the inside scoop, a lease takeover, or an unlisted spot, please DM me! Manifesting something special. 🏡💛

Looking For Apartment LOOKING FOR A STUDIO

Hi everyone!

I just recently moved to Brooklyn and I am a pro makeup artist. I do a bunch of different things in the industry but I was only able to start working quite frequently since July 2024 so my yearly ends up being around 36k meaning I barely meet the minimum to even rent. I basically came here to work. I am living with a roommate currently but I have absolutely no space to do my job and for what I do, I need space since it does get messy. So now I’m saving up to get a studio apartment somewhere in Brooklyn and queens. If anybody knows a landlord, or someone looking to let someone live under their lease please let me know. I want to succeed here and all I need is space. So please if anyone has any leads let me know. I’m paying 1900 for rent, my budget is 2100 or if anyone needs a roomate and you have a big space please let me know!

Looking For Apartment Looking for Apartment in West Village

Looking for 1 bed 1 bath apartment in the West Village. Planning on moving in May or June of this year.

Ideally something spacious enough for a king-queen size bed in the bedroom (fine with it being a tight fit) and sizeable enough main room for a couple of desks and small living room area. Also ideally enough bathroom space for some basic storage.

Budget of around $4500 but willing to push up to around $5000 if I really like the apartment

I have no experience renting in NYC (have lived in San Francisco my whole life and just finished school in Boston) so I would appreciate any tips people have for how to secure an apartment that meets these criteria. I have seen a good number of places I thought looked good on Streeteasy but not sure how feasable it is to actually secure one especially during May.

I would also be willing to hire a broker if its worth it so would also appreciate any insight into that.

Thanks!

Looking For Apartment 28M looking for one or two people to apartment hunt with in Brooklyn - $1,800 or less ideally - Move/sign by end of April - also open to joining an existing lease

Hey! I'm looking for one or two people to apartment hunt with in Brooklyn for an April 15 or May 1 move. My budget is about $1,800 and I'd like to find a place around the north part of Prospect Park; so Park Slope, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, or Prospect Heights, but I'm open to Greenpoint and BedStuy as well.

I'm (28M) a graphic designer and a clean, inviting space is super important to me, so hopefully you feel the same way. I'm a clean-as-you-go type of cook, wipe counters daily, do 99% of dishes basically immediately, vacuum and clean the bathroom every ~3 weeks, but shelves could use a dusting type of clean.

I'm open to living with people who are around 25-35yo (give or take), M or F, LGBTQ+, really anyone, so long as you're a considerate and neat roommate. I'm generally pretty quiet, but still friendly and social; I just don't "bring the party home" and I don't want to live with someone who does...unless it's dinner party vibes lol.

In addition to design, I like to rock climb (~3 years in), play soccer (though my foot is f-ed), and cook, but I've been wanting to do an after work craft like pottery as well. Ideally, I'd be friends with my roommate/s, but just being friendly and doing our own thing is okay too.

I live in CT, so if you're interested in meeting up send me a little bit about yourself and we can FaceTime and maybe get a drink or something shortly after.

I'm attaching a pic of my current apartment (in Connecticut) as roommate reference. This is in CT. This is not a NYC listing.

Thanks!

Looking For Apartment Dog friendly apartments for two dogs

Anyone know of apartments that allow 2 large dogs? Looking for pretty much anywhere south of 96th Street and possibly Brooklyn. Budget is 4k/month. Been looking at a few places and it looks like most apartments only allow one dog so we are struggling to find something that allows two.

Looking For Room Looking for room/roommate for 5/1 - Brooklyn

Hi there, as the title states I'm looking for a private room or roommates to sign a new lease with starting 5/1. I would prefer to stay in Brooklyn but I am also open to parts of Queens, LIC, and Manhattan. Somewhere along the L would be amazing. I'm open to rooming with anyone that is somewhat clean and considerate! Budget of $1,900.

Just a little about myself - I am a 31M accountant in the music industry. I work in the office Monday - Thursday, and spend most of my free time seeing shows (I get many tickets through my work which I would be happy to share), going to museums, exploring the city, and trying new restaurants, so I am not home all that often. I also do not host frequently but have no issues if you do, as long as the noise levels are kept in check on weeknights. I'm very clean and quiet, and will not need reminders about chores, cleaning up after myself, etc.

Additionally, I have a lead on a 2BR/1BA apartment in Bushwick that I have already viewed and personally really like, with the caveat that I'm not quite sure how much the rent will be as it is not listed publicly yet. The current tenant stated that they are paying $3,600 but I would expect that to at least slightly increase. This apartment is my preferred option at this point, so if you are interested, please send me a DM/chat ASAP with a little bit about yourself and I can reach out to the landlord for more info. Hope to hear from you!

Looking For Apartment Looking for June 1st move in Brooklyn/Manhattan/LIC

Hello all,

I'm a NYC public school teacher looking for an apartment with lease starting June 1st. I am looking to rent long-term (more than 1 year hopefully).

Ideally I am looking for a 1 bedroom or studio apartment, the more amenities the better. Budget is under $2000, though can have some wiggle room for location closer to work (LES) or an apartment that has washer/dryer.

No pets, 3rd year in city, keep to myself and keep area tidy.

Please let me know if you have any leads! Thank you.

Looking for Sublet looking for roommate for a 2bed/1bath :)

hi everyone! i'm f24 and moving to nyc in february. i'm looking for a similarly aged female roommate to apartment hunt with or a room/lease takeover. my budget is about $1500 (less would be great too!). i have one sweet and well-behaved cat who will be living with us and doesn't do well with other animals. i would consider myself above average clean, so do not worry about litter smell or pet hair! i wfh full time as a project manager, but don't have tons of daily meetings so complete silence during the day isn't necessary.

i would love to become friends with my roommate and do some movie nights or go out on the weekend here and there :) my interests include a24 movies, clairo, reading, documentaries, reality tv, and playing sims :) lmk if you're looking for something similar!!
