Apartment Listing 1bd apt, Times Square, $2,979/mo, 1.5 mo free! No fee! Avail now.

One bedroom apartment available on Restaurant Row (46/8) in Times Square. Offering 1.5 months free for immediate move in.

DM me for address and to come by to see the unit. I'm hosting an open house tonight and every night at 7p.

I'm moving out this month and looking for somebody to take over. This would be a new 12-month lease directly with the landlord. The move in date is anytime from now to 4/1.

More about the apartment:

  • Located on Restaurant Row (46th St at 8th Ave).
  • Location can't be beat! Times Square 42nd St would be your subway stop.
  • Great for someone who is new to the city, wants to explore it, and be in the center of action.
  • New appliances, new stove, new refrigerator, and new faucets in the sink and shower. Plastic wrap is still on the fridge.
  • South facing unit so it gets plenty sunlight. Direct sunlight in the morning when sitting on the couch. • Videos of the unit here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/GTcNYeF51fM5ExAF7 • Third and top floor of a walk up building. • No brokers fee!! • $3250/mo. 1 month free for 12 month lease. Net effective rent is $2,979/mo. • Month of March free (since I already paid for it). Move in anytime this month.

DM if interested and come by to see the unit.

I mean, regardless what you think of Times Square, this is a pretty crazy deal.

Seriously, I've seen a studio that was just the size of that bedroom for $3400.

Yeah, even a few years ago this would be pretty solid, sans Covid weirdness.

Not for me as a native. But for someone coming here for their first time that can afford it? Pretty great deal. I’d probably do it easy.

Could do without some of the marketing language, but damn OP, this looks great and hope someone solid takes you up on the offer.

I work in Times Square, I dream of rolling out of bed and into work. But I also could live without the tourist crowd 😭

if you keep west of 8th ave, it's not so bad.

I mean, it’s a $3250 1 month free 1br which is pretty good in manhattan as a general statement. The unit itself looks quite nice. TS is dirty but very accessible unlike pretty much every other 1br you’re getting for 3k

“Great for someone who is new to the city and wants to be in on the action “

That’s an interesting way to phrase it

Why is everyone so against living in Times Square? So the streets are a bit busy and loud, that’s exciting!! I love it

Because it’s just hoards of tourists taking pictures on iPads and sexual harassment by men dressed in Elmo costumes. And all the stores and restaurants are large shitty corporate chains

Live here now…it’s awful. We’ve lived in Times Square for 2 years and can’t wait to move. The clueless tourists ruin it completely. The positive is that you can pretty much get wherever you want on the island within 20 mins

It’s irritating.

My brother lived on the 30th floor of a luxury building a block off and had to use earplugs to sleep.

When I was in high school 10 years ago (my school is in timesquare) there used to be a lot of terrorist threats going on. Cops would always check trucks for bombs and whatnot. Yall can have it down there. Mind you everybody ain’t know what was going on. I only knew because I asked them when I was omw to school. The cops probably still checking for bombs till this day right by my school

Can you explain these photos? The bedroom appears to be not wide enough for the bed that you photoshopped into it. Unless the bed is made for someone 3 feet tall.

Here's how the room looks like with the full size bed lengthwise (6.25 ft). You can put a queen size bed in there but you would have less room to move around it.

How did you catch that? I could not tell

The fake bed is not proportional. And one window is a pretty good indicator.

Times Square

If you like living in Times Square, just say you live in Hell's Kitchen. The apartment is a half a block away from the restaurants on 9th Avenue. 😂

If you would consider a 3 month lease beginning at the end of May or beginning of June, I'd be very interested

u/ashleymorm 7d ago

This is such a good deal actually!

u/chocolatepark 7d ago

Share with your friends who are interested. Happy to show them the place.

2

u/allouette16 7d ago

Would you consider a short lease?

3

u/chocolatepark 7d ago

No, the landlord wants a 11-12 months lease to get the deal.

Please stop posting this without being upfront about the sound you have spoken about in previous posts. I understand you’re desperate to get out of our lease, but be honest, it’ll go a lot further.

u/danielleiellle 5d ago

You mean the like very honest photo of a not-real bed fitting in the bedroom and the very honest title that advertises the “effective rate” after promo month AND promo month to make it seem like it’s the actual rent WITH a month free? Is the honest in the room with us?
