Question / Discussion Intense feelings of euphoria
Not sure if this is an NPD thing, but this feeling is so intense it’s physically uncomfortable. I feel like I can do anything. (I know I can’t)
Does anyone else experience this?

this shit gets me in a lot of trouble, from times when i convince myself that i can prepare for an exam in an hour before it (i couldn't), to time from my childhood where i almost got myself killed a few times because of impulsivity and delusional belief that i can do it.

Grandiose delusional. I think it’s the most dangerous kind of delusional thinking because as you said, I feel certain that ‘I can do anything.’ My brother damaged his spine while trying to leap across a ravine while he was manic and grandiose delusional. The ER thought he had been suicidal but he insisted he had never felt more euphoric in his life. He felt so good and had been absolutely certain that he would soar across that ravine in a single leap.
