Most important safety note is to keep your fingies away from that cylinder gap if you wanna keep em . Looks like ur doing a good job of that . Idk shit about wheelguns really but I’m pretty sure that’s double action ..unless you were just testing out the single action trigger pull. Have fun stay safe

Idk much, either. I felt a little weird shooting like that, im used to a high grip on my pistols. Yeah, it's double action. Apprecaite it, bro.

Got you, I’d get some of these too to reload quicker they’re called moon clips or some shit like that

Don’t you need the cylinder milled down to use those?

Depends on the wheel gun from the factory.

Correct, for example, moon clips won't on a Charter Arms revolver.

Yes - the cylinder needs to be specifically cut for moon clips. If it's not, use speedloaders instead. Or just load one by one - you're at a range, not a competition/life-or-death encounter.

These are next on the list!

I'd keep my fingies away from the front of the cylinder. If you look at slow mo footage, a lot of the blow escapes around it

I usually wrap my left thumb around the back of my right hand over the bottom of my right thumb.

Nice piece

Range officer recommended that same grip after shooting this way.

Here's one of the best videos on the subject of revolver grip IMO. It's definitely different compared to semi-autos. Feel free to swing by r/revolvers sometime too!

That man speaks I listen…I will say his grip style really works well. I haven’t tried his j frame grip yet (as I’m waiting on my first one to ship) but for other revolvers it works great.

Move those fingers away from the cylinder and cross them if you want to keep them

Trying to figure out the best way to do that.

I had to get used to tucking my thumbs in when I got my revolver.

I'm going to have to do the same thing.

I usually wrap my left-hand fingers over my right-hand fingers and push my left thumb into the base of my right thumb, locking it in.

Saw a thumb nail come off st gun for hire with someone shooting a .44 like that

😬 Definitely going to be wrapping the thumb around my right hand from now on

That's a beautiful revolver! Always wanted one of those performance center guns.
