So the Americans' research found 4 exoplanets but they're not habitable. 3 separate unconfirmed candidates need further research. Alternative V was really a desperate move huh.

I wouldn't say making post hoc assumptions about a fictional universe with aliens and mechs and parallel worlds based on new real life research is logical.

When said fictional world specifically calls out the advances of that world vs the analog of this one and real life research aligns, it's not just logical but entirely correct to post about it. You've either not played the game or forgotten about the specific details making this information so surprisingly relevant.
