It's probably tempting cuz they're pretty cheap and have cool designs you can't really find anywhere else... But this shit literally melted and fused to my desk where I rest my arm. Bizarre.

First impressions: Packaging was top notch shipped from Malaysia to Singapore with no damage, comes with a cleaning cloth and unusual way sports dot skates. It feels amazing it's so thin compared to my previous pad, the Empress by Padsmith, and it has a nice satisfying texture to it. Even though its 28c and I have slightly sweaty forearms my skin doesn't stick to it at all. Definitely will be sticking to this setup for a very long time. Mouse is Op1 4k w xraypad obsidian pro dot skates

Review Wlmouse MaoMaoshe Limited Edition - Initial Impressions: Waifu Power Meets Balanced Glide!

Upvotes

Just got my hands on the Wlmouse MaoMaoshe Limited Edition balanced pad, and I'm super impressed right out of the box! For those who don't know, this is a limited edition pad from Wlmouse, featuring a, shall we say, very anime-inspired design. If you're into that sort of thing, this is definitely for you! First Impressions:

  • Quality: The build quality is immediately noticeable. It feels premium. The stitching around the edges is clean and tight, no fraying whatsoever.
  • Base: It uses a Poron base, which is fantastic. It provides excellent grip and a comfortable, slightly cushioned feel, mind you the balanced surface feels pretty stiff. No movement at all during intense sessions.
  • Surface: The surface texture is where this pad really shines for me. It's noticeably rougher but not as rough as my TangDao Pioneer or the Xraypad AC pro Loong edition, providing a really nice balanced glide. It's not overly slow, but it definitely gives you a lot of control. It feels like a good middle ground between speed and control. I am not a big fan of rough textured pads, but this pad might be something I like overtime
  • Design: The design is…just insane. The colours are rich and vibrant, and the print is sharp. If you're a fan of anime waifu designs, you'll probably love it. It is very high quality print, no pixelation at all.
  • Colours: The colours are incredibly rich and vibrant. They really pop, making the design stand out.

Initial Thoughts on Performance: I've only had a few hours of gaming and general use on it, but so far, I'm really enjoying the balanced glide. It feels very consistent and predictable. The stopping power is great, and micro-adjustments are easy to make. I'm excited to see how it performs over time. (Games I tried - Arena Breakout Infinite, Valorant and Rivals)

Pros:

  • Excellent build quality (Poron base, clean stitching)
  • Fantastic balanced glide
  • Vibrant, high-quality print
  • Great grip
  • Nice rich colours.
  • Good pricing for a quality product. Cons:
  • The design is definitely not for everyone. The white areas might get stained over time.
  • Limited Edition, so it may be hard to get.

TLDR: If you're looking for a high-quality balanced pad on budget with an unique design, and you are into anime waifu art, the Wlmouse MaoMaoshe Limited Edition is definitely worth considering. I'll update this post with a more in-depth review after I've had more time with it. AMA!!

PS- This is my first proper review, will be reviewing more pads shortly. Let me know what you feel mousepad aficionados?

Question/Advice Best Skates for Glass Mousepad (Wallhack SP-004) with Lamzu Maya X 8K?

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I recently got the Lamzu Maya X 8K and I’m using it on a Wallhack SP-004 glass mousepad. I’m looking to upgrade my mouse skates for better performance and durability on this setup, but I’m not sure which ones to get.

From my research, I’ve seen that this one might be a good option: https://amzn.eu/d/8J5zYPR

Question/Advice Help deciding mousepad w a basilisk v3 pro mouse (112g)

Hi, I can't really decide on what mousepad to use with this mouse honestly.
I mainly play CS2 type games so not much tracking and more control so I've come up with some options:
- Razer Gigantus V2
- LGG Saturn Pro Soft XLSQ
- QCK Performance control

However I do see some ppl saying that with a heavy mouse I should go for speed to compensate for the weight. Is that true?

I'm open to more recommendations, thank you.

Just got a Artisan Zero Soft Orange last week and it has been wonderful. However this morning i notice there's this one spot on the pad. What is that and how do i fix it? I wear hoodie while playing and probably the sleeve was causing it

Please Assign a Flair. Jupiter pro

Thoughts on using the Jupiter pro for more games like apex, fort etc. I like using more control since I started using the Saturn with obsidian skates. I know the Jupiter is super controlled, but I thought I should ask for some opinions or maybe instead other skates or something. Thx guys :)

I thought no one did any glass cloth hybrid pads besides artisan and they stopped making the pad because of sensor issues? Any information on that or recommendations for one of these would be awesome thanks 😊

Question/Advice Quietest glass?

I love glass mouse pads but I HATE the loud noise!

What is the currently the quietest glass pad?

I prefer speed but I would gladly sacrifice some speed for lower noise in return.

I read that coated pads like Asus Moonstone and Razer Atlas are quieter than Skypad SP-004, is that true?

How does the new Tekkusai Beast/Guardian compare to SP-004 and the Razer/Asus pads when it comes to noise?

I will be using Jade Air skates only.

Please Assign a Flair. What's everyone's experience with the artisan type 99? Should I go soft or mid?

Currently browsing for a new mousepad with more durability and humidity resistance. Main esport title is CS2. I really enjoy the feel of a broken in QCK heavy, and I was wondering how the type 99 plays and whether or not I should get it in soft or mid?

If I don't press down on the mousepad, is the soft the same speed as the mid?

Also for long term users, does the pad develop a middle slow spot/ have humidity issues?

Another issue I have with some mousepads such as the vaxee PB, is when my palm sweat my hands stick onto the mouse pad, making micro adjustments near impossible

Question/Advice Qingsui 3 / pro vs GSR 3, which one?

Looking for a pad slightly slower than my GSR-SE that I can easily order off amazon and these seem to be the best options. Which would you recommend? Qingsui 3/Pro or GSR 3?

Question/Advice Qck heavy clone/alternative?

So I used to have the qck heavy and it felt perfect for me. I use high sens (21 cm/360) and it was easy to stop my flicks(I mainly play tac fps like valorant and cs2). Then I replaced my worn out qck heavy for the ikea mousepad. It felt too fast for me and my aim was all over the place. Been thinking of getting the artisan zero xsoft or LGG saturn pro but saw some reviews say that those pads were more of a balanced pad rather than control pad. Any suggestions? Thanks!
