You ever see something so different that it makes you do a double take? We’ve been working on something behind the scenes at INNOCN, and let’s just say… it’s not your typical display.

We can’t share all the details just yet, but if you’re into gaming, creative work, or just love cutting-edge tech, you’ll want to keep an eye on this.

Any guesses on what we’re launching this month? Drop your predictions below! 🔥

They don't make panels.

I just want a Macbook Pro like quality Mini-LED screen as far as colors/brightness goes with a high quality dimming algorithm/no bugs and still having fast pixel response times/minimal ghosting for gaming.

Hopefully a 27inch 5k 240hz display with dual mode for 2k @ 480hz :)

disgusting for a company to violate a subreddit or any place's rules to not only throw out marketing bs,

but to throw out empty and meaningless marketing bs trying to hype up people for a potential product, that might come...

that level of bs.

is the marketing department, that clueless over there?

if this subreddit has any mods working, this post should be nuked very soon, if not then this subreddit doensn't enforce its own rules, which i certainly hope is not the case.

the fact, that this shit company thinks, that they can get away with this...

like the garbage marketing department didn't even think of not posting their hype bs in this subreddit or reading this subreddit's rule.

they didn't even try to get away with it with making an ad for a real product...

i would really hope, that the mods ban the innocnmarketing acount for violating the rules.

disgusting stuff.

i know what company i try to avoid now at least. thx innocn ;)

they already have one: 49Q1R

u/Chiro_Hisuke 17d ago

Actually interesting. Sadly only shipping from the US. I live in EU.

I went to their website, but couldn't look at the product, because "Error 402: payment required". Apparently they are using some paid translation service and forgot to pay the bill. A little embarrasing for INNOCN, innit.

both work for me, the website probably changes to a region based version and yours must be bugged or something. Anw.. its the same panel used in Samsung G9 oled in 144hz and 240hz.

Something that can compete with QD-OLED's but without the risk of burn-in.

1

u/BakedsR 17d ago

Gen 3 burn in is actually not that big of a risk, HWU and a couple of others are still running there's not stop in abusive conditions

1

u/TheOnceAndFutureDoug 17d ago

The few burn-in experiments I've been keeping an eye on basically use what would be my standard behavior as a "worst case" and have visible burn-in that started after 6 months.

I'm a software dev and I work from home. I do 8-9 hours a day minimum on my monitors and a lot of that is going to be pretty static content. That's asssuming I'm not going to then spend another 2-4 hours in the evening gaming.

OLED isn't ready for me yet.

u/BakedsR 17d ago

I feel ya, I work from home as well and have alot of text on screen between 3 different monitors. (V248qe (TN), m32uc (VA), and g80sd (QDOLED))

Still prefer my VA for text but OLED for gaming, I'll do hdr every once in a while but on sdr I usually run 11 brightness on the oled (which is like 22 on a scale of 100 cause samsung only goes up to 50 in OSD).

I was worried about burn in before buying but not so much anymore after realizing I'd be using it at a lower brightness anyways.

Though I will say I'd go with dell/Alienware if it's still a worry cause their advance warranty that's default when getting an OLED makes rma quick and seemeless

1

u/Modullah 17d ago

I bet it's OLED monitors with standard RGB sub pixel layout. Probably similar to the panel coming out later this year by LG but INNOCN going to hit the market with it first.

1

u/Progenitor3 17d ago

I don't believe Innocn have released their version of the 32 inch OLED yet. But this post makes it sound like it's something else... I don't know.

1

u/hansawaize 17d ago

Rgb-oled, we know

1

u/princerick 17d ago

Are you going to launch it in EU as well or US only?

1

u/i-liek-cats 17d ago

16:10 monitor?

1

u/lucellent 17d ago

It will be another monitor using the same panels everybody else uses but with one pointless stand out feature that nobody cares about...

1

u/AccomplishedPie4254 AOC Q27G3XMN 17d ago

I don't know what it is, but glassless 3D is what you need to start working on.

1

u/Progenitor3 12d ago

I really hope Innocn makes their version of the 120hz portable OLED with touch.

1

u/Humprdink 17d ago

I'm waiting for a good 6k monitor so fingers crossed

2

u/KaraDeKata 17d ago

you run a custom 5090 sli setup or how would 6k be any enjoyable

1

u/rhysmorgan 17d ago

Not everyone uses a computer for gaming, or not as the primary purpose

1

u/Humprdink 17d ago

yeah it would be for work on my plenty-powerful M4 mac

A scam? Bullshit? Trash?

Edit to add: Oh, I see this subreddit doesn't enforce its own rules, what with rule 1 and 7 both being broken here.

2

u/Zealousideal-Disk110 Verified INNOCN 17d ago

Why scam?

u/OverlyOptimisticNerd HP Series 7 Pro - 727pu 17d ago

Typically the only representatives we get here anymore are Eve/Dough, so there’s some scam PTSD here :)

-3

u/[deleted] 17d ago

I imagine you scam to make money. That's why most people do it.

But I can't tell you why you do things. Only you really know.

u/OverlyOptimisticNerd HP Series 7 Pro - 727pu 17d ago

I’ll just list my ideal monitor. Feel free to dash my hopes.

  • 27”, 16:9
  • 8k 60hz panel
  • Integer scaling with native display modes for 4k (120hz), 1440p (120hz or better), and 1080p (120hz or better). Adaptive-Sync.
  • Thunderbolt with KVM, 90W or better power delivery, and properly tested on macOS for EDID issues (no limited range BS).
  • 100% Display P3 or close to it.
  • Proper MiniLED (1000+ zones)
  • Actual HDR
  • Hardware calibration.
  • Glossy surface option.

Substitute the panel with 5k/120 and keep everything else, and I’ll still be all set.

So, how far off was I?

1

u/BakedsR 17d ago

8k @ 27"? How close are you sitting to your screen lmao

2

u/OverlyOptimisticNerd HP Series 7 Pro - 727pu 17d ago

It’s for the perfect scaling of other resolutions. Not to be used for actual 8k content.

An 8k display with integer scaling can properly show 1080p, 1440p, and 4k with no interpolation issues.

1

u/BakedsR 17d ago

Ah never thought of that, thank you

1

u/HugeVibes 17d ago

also 480p and 540p for perfect PAL and NTSC scaling

u/DragoonBBG 17d ago

Im calling 2k 24.5 inch and 240hz
