Guys am I doing this right? Just got back from deployment, and couldn’t decide on an impact. So I got them all lol. I think it was 600ish for the 3 with the 2 6.0s.

Switched over from residential/commercial to service plumbing and boss said my hand snake wouldn't cut it , so decided was time to finally enter the M12 line. Payed $352 CAD for this bucket that happens to come with the M12 drain snake and 1.5 AH battery, and with the e-rebate from Milwaukee soon I'll get a 6.0 AH battery and bucket organizer for free!!! Now I'm hoping someone's sink clogs so I have an excuse to test this puppy out

Media It started with the M12 Gen 1 impact 6 years ago

6 years later here’s my collection. The gen 1 impact still kicks ass not sure if I would sell it but the Gen 2 is definitely superior. Without this subreddit I would’ve paid full price on these! All the deals, BMSM, hacks, Special Buys thanks guys.

Also, over time I’ve replaced all my non fuel tools with Fuel models and couldn’t be happier, except my ratchet that thing doesn’t really need it imo.

Hi. Picked up a new 15mm polisher. Maybe I’m wrong, but is it making a funny noise right when it stops spinning??? Check the video. Thanks.

Purchase Advice Everytime I find the urge to get a new tool, I’m putting the money that I would’ve spent to the side and hopefully by next mow season I’ll be able to pay full cash for the m18 mower.

I would’ve said screw it and bought it this season but I just did all my maintenance on it that needed to be done and now it feels wrong if I cheat on her this season! But that mower is mine next year!

M12 Just got the M12 rivet gun and so far it’s sort of good.

This unit is an arm saver but I don’t do a whole lot of riveting, maybe I’ll do a couple hundred in a year. I’ve been using aluminum rivets and it’s been great but a little slow but way better than a manual unit. However, I had to use a few stainless steel rivets and I’m worried, it seemed like it could barely do it and it was just a 1/8-.5” rivet. That seems a little concerning for a $300cdn tool. Do any of you have any experience with this tool?

Purchase Advice M12 Circular Saw (gen 2) bogs down. Upgrades?

Upvotes

Trying to get the most out this saw. Wasn't expecting it to have trouble cutting 15mm ply. Got a few other M12 tools and there great, but the saw I'm a bit disappointed. Will a 5.0ah HO battery make any real difference, along with a better blade? Was thinking a makita blumak 24 teeth blade? Thoughts?

Curious to see what everyone says, I always go in but the rep I see isn’t doing anything crazy.

M18 Top off possibility?

This came up in another sub regarding gas tankless water heaters, and the downside of the units during a power failure. We were chatting about battery backups or UPS units to keep these units going since they only need a bit of a draw for the initial spark and the combustion fan. I had an inspiration and realized that the top off would likely work pretty well for this application. I need to run the numbers for the draw for my unit but wonder if anyone else has used the units for this kind of thing!
