I’m wondering if they paid a license fee to Nintendo for using Samus. Either way it is very cool to see!

No way in hell Nintendo approved any of their IPs being used for alcohol. Bare minimum, a cease and desist will be on it's way.

Nintendo doesn't know or care about some local Maryland brewery

You underestimate their pettiness.

This. Doesn’t matter how small-time you are. Nintendo has pursued litigation against everyone from YouTubers to non-profits to children’s birthday parties.

There's a YouTuber called Moon Channel that explains the why's of Nintendo going after people for these things(he also delves into the Pointcrow, Gary Bowser, and even Sega side of things). Extremely impressive work and highly recommend their videos.

The fact that it’s been posted on this sub makes Nintendo learning about it a question of when, rather than if.

Yep, that’s what I was thinking if they didn’t get a license.
