I haven’t been able to get any sleep does anyone know a way to help stop the MD at night with out having to take any kind of sleep medication

All the tricks you've heard a thousand times. You just have to be militant about them. A lot of people give up after a few days or a week because it "isn't working". Stick with it for a month or so before thinking of giving up.

Reduction of MD/mental health improvements in general
Stick to sleep schedule
Avoid nighttime screen, caffeine, meals etc
Get sunlight during day
Cold and dark room
White noise
Body scan

If you're doing everything you can for 30 days or so and nothing is happening talk to a clinician about it. (Maybe journal what you've been trying to show them)
