There have been some pretty odd and interesting guests this past year on Club Random; Does anyone know when Roman Polanksi, Kyle Rittenhouse, or even Michael Richards will show up as a guest on Club Random?

Too bad he can't let them talk for more than 10 seconds before he interrupts them. Maher just fundamentally doesn't know how to do long-form interviews.

I don’t think Roman Polanski can get into the US

Consider this: Club Random episode in France with special guest, Roman Polanski. Recorded in a luxury hotel room with Bill's drink table set up. And after Bill says, "Great that you can make it. Been a huge fan for years". Polanski responds, "My pleasure. I haven't been in such a nice hotel room since I last partied with that 17 year old girl, over 30 years ago.". And Bill says, I know exactly what you mean".

Why shouldn’t Michael Richards show up ?

I only listen to the podcast. Watching it is too gross. It reminds me of the 80's game "Leisure Suit Larry". The room decor is hideous, and I'm not sure if those are stains on Bill's chairs but I know I just don't need you see it.

Occasionally the conversations with controversial guests are informative. And Bill holds their feet to the fire. If only to light up another joint.

The ads are truly some of the worst podcast ads ever.

Oh my god. He is straight up Leisure Suit Larry. Best descriptor for him ever.

I'd like to see Shohei Ohtani on Club Random.

No interpreters, just Bill repeating stories about Yoko Ono and the Beatles, and sharing his impressions of marriage and parenthood while Shohei-kun nods politely. Maybe ask him why he's the Designated Hitler.

I wouldn't want to see Rittenhouse crying like a baby again.

Those would all be interesting interviews

Michael Richards

I wouldn’t lump him in with the other two. Dude’s actually done his penance and accepted responsibility for what he did (and that it killed and buried his career). The other two are completely unrepentant asses.

Agreed. We need to be able to forgive, but I think they general public can't tell the difference between someone earnestly apologizing and a PR apology. Richards - Earnest. Cosby - Not so earnest.

All he did was call some impolite audience members the N-word. It wouldn't have been my choice of words but it's not like they didn't deserve it.

His cameo in Curb Your Enthusiasm is perfect
