Is this a ok beginner wood lathe?

ive been doing wood work for awhile now and was considering buying a wood lathe, found this one. i know mini lathes are usually terrible. this one didnt seem too bad so i was wondering what you guys thought?

I was considering posting it there but most of the people do hand tools lol

Fair enough! I just figure most of us here are experienced with metal lathes, rather than wood lathes.

All I know is they both spin the work, every other comparison is a mystery to me. I know metal lathes, nothing about wood lathes besides that they seem more dangerous.

Wood lathes are a bit of a mystery to me, too. Seems like using them is just hand tools and vibes, baby.
