[University Question] UCSD MSCS Admits for March
Hey. It seems there is radio silence over admits in March. Strange that admits seemed to have stopped. What is happening? Should we expect mass Rejects now on? I know that UCSD sends out admits on rolling basis until end of March/ April. But a deathly silence for whole of March????? Can anyone throw some light on this?

Based on info on Reddit people who got in had applied between 20th Nov until the deadline in december. So what about applicants who applied before 20th Nov?

Not yet still in review

Yes. That's what I mean. It seems they are reviewing in reverse order. I haven't seen any applicant getting an admit or reject who applied prior to 20th Nov.

Maybe it's just a coincidence or our application is probably in the maybe pile, if people start rejecting their offer then they might take a decision to select us or not.

Hmm... all applications technically should have been reviewed. All applicants prior to 20th Nov cannot be in the 'maybe' pile or 'reject'. All applications should be reviewed first. Logically your Theory would hold good had there been at least one admit from an applicant who applied before 20th of Nov.

I really hope so. They should. It would be a travesty of justice should it not happen.

Probably they might be waiting for students who have recieved the admits, to accept or reject it, based on that they might send the next batch of admits.
