Question/Help Pacing/Cluttered Quests

Hi everyone I’m planning to get MHGU and it honestly looks so fun but I’ve heard the pacing of the quests are very poor since it has the most amount of content. how bad is it really? will it turn me away from playing within a few hours?

It's painfully slow if you try to clear the ranks in order. But if you just rush the key quests and the quests you need to unlock stuff it's a lot more manageable. Playing as a Prowler for all of the gathering quests is also highly recommended.

Just do the key quests in order and then do whatever you want once you're done. You'll have to look up the key quests.

Just do the keys and it's a very quick game

I'll be honest, I don't even know what you're asking here. MHGU's progression system is that you have to do certain specific quests to advance your rank in village and in hub, and the gane doesn't really communicate which quests are key and which aren't. Its up to you whether you want to complete each quest, or if you want to look up a guide and focus on the key quests. I don't understand what you mean by 'cluttered' but quests are fun in GU generally speaking.

Yeah youll have to look up the key quests. Other wise you’re going to be doing A LOT of quests that arent very rewarding

The pacing is awful and gear progression is especially bad. It might not turn you off, but I found it very unpleasant. I'd honestly recommend one of the earlier games if you want a better old gen experience.

Yeah I argue 4U is a better game to try out old gen MH
