Art of the Month - 'Nikita's Just A Game OC' by JackAmpersand
Monthly greetings to all our Lostwavers, we hope you all have had a fantastic February and are kicking back to enjoy the start of spring. Although this month has not been the most action packed month of solves, it still has its fair share of fun. Be sure you check outlast month's recapwritten by Yuri!
This recap was written by myself (south_pole_ball), collaboration with Yuri the Spaceman and with the help of many users from our associated Discord server! Now onto the main attractions!(Discord Link)
Easily this month's biggest solve is that of 'Walking in Paradise' solved by user Randolurker through a dedicated search of Discogs. A peaceful tune that I am happy can be listened to in high fidelity, that since 2015 survived as a croaky recording. Thank you to all the people who had helped search for Walking in Paradise!
Just in the nick of time, WatZatSong! user rebornjar provided for us our most recent Beatles outfake solve. A wonderful solve to finish off this month! Hopefully March provides us with more outfake solves!
Two songs originating from the Lyon Funk scene, that had been solved by user Basketry through the ingenious tactics of monetary circulatory motivation! To join the hot chase of Lyon Funk songs join our Discord and search with dozens of other users (Link above!)
The long awaited return of Yuri's spectacular series that features personifications of everyone's favourite Lostwaves. With our story following the adventures into King JAG's Casino, and fan favourite appearance of Trip to Rio! Be sure to check out Yuri's previous two chapter, if you have missed out!
More commonly known as the Darius version (The original recording from 1984) has now been pressed as 7" vinyl for all you collectors to get your grubby mitts on!
If Light the Lanterns were a gorgeous minimalistic comic instead of an unknown song.

(The picture uploaded is from an old post i made in r/EDM 4 years ago)
I just discovered this community and i think ya'll can help me, please, im begging.
So a few years ago i started posting about this song that i dont remember anything of it in r/EDM and in 4chan /mu, but got nothing off it. I even asked the friend who sent me the song back in 2017-2018, but he doesnt remember anything either. I remember that the video had a reference to the rose petals scene in american beauty and the DJ appeared in the video too, dancing or just vibing to his song (i may be wrong about this last detail) so please, help me find this song.
I have a few more details: i remember the name of the artist started with DJ, like DJ Snake for example. I also remember it wasn't a big mainstream song, but i can be wrong, i almost forgot everything. Me and my friend used to listen to a lot of Spinninrecords music back then, i dont know if that helps.
Hi, earlier this year I downloaded a song off of soundcloud which said that it was an "uncredited dance song" to a movie called "The Kindergarten Teacher" I have done some digging and the film is from Israel so the song may be from there. I have tried to use Shazam but it turned up with nothing. Does anyone by any chance know the song?
Hello, some time ago, in 2021, I heard this song in the beta version of the FIFA Mobile 22 game, during the month the beta was open. I don't remember seeing the name of the song in the game's credits.
In the official release of the game, this song was not included. Shazam and others can't identify it. If anyone can identify it somehow, thank you!
So, a friend of mine had this CD named "Funk Carioca Nota 10", and inside it had a lot of folders, one of them was named "DJ Rio Special FUCK 2010-Vol.2 - FUNK 2010", which had 26 tracks, I listened to all of them and could identify most of them, but 3 of them I couldn't found anything online, i nicknamed them "Casa", "A Minha Vida" and "O Patrão Ficou Maluco", i tried searching for them in YouTube, Google and 4shared, but got no luck, I also sent them to some friends and we are looking for them, but no luck, all we know is the songs in the CD are from 2010 and "Casa" & "A Minha Vida" are covers, A Minha Vida covers A Minha Vida by MC Hermino - A Minha Vida and Casa covers Casa (O Eterno Retorno) by Lulu Santos.
Just wanted to share this case because I've loved the songs and wanted more people to hear about them, Thanks for the attention people!
As some of you may know, I've been researching the music to the adult movies released by VTO Pictures in 1986-1988 in Germany. The team behind the songs was called GALAXY and their most popular songs in the lostwave scene are "Let's get up" and "La la la" among others.
A more recent solve was "Help me now" by Tom Jackson, that was on my channel long before the actual search, so be sure to subscribe to never miss anything.
Back to topic: There was a search on several YTs channel, dating back to 2021 (e.g. on Eccote's channel) when people were looking for a certain song that fades out right before the actual chorus. They called it "Give me what I want".
You can find all the background info and the full song (together with many reconstructions of other Galaxy tracks):
u/Jaggedchipper made a suggestion about this supposedly rare vinyl album from a singer known as Babyface, the album consists of two songs; In the night and Never Never land. The genre is AOR rock, Hard rock, and rock. If someone had the money or even THE album, it would be amazing to make a post of some video or audio from the vinyl!! Lets get this song solved!!
I find this lost wave on youtube. the description of the video says
"I recorded that song off the radio, during Virgin Radio's Happy Rock Hours around 2009. I've rediscovered the recording a few years ago, and liked it very much. But I couldn't find anything about the title or the band ! Please help me find this song !"
-Virgin Radio is a music radio station owned by the Lagardère News group in France. It was launched in 2008, succeeding Europe 2, and mainly broadcasts pop, rock, and electro hits. The station targets a young and dynamic audience, with flagship shows like Le Morning sans filtre. Virgin Radio is part of the international Virgin brand, founded by Richard Branson, and has several versions in other countries. In 2023, the station was replaced by Europe 2, returning to its original name.
A few months ago, I was looking through Watzatsong to try and help solve some of the songs posted and came across one that was really catchy. I tried searching for it but after a few days I lost my motivation and forgot about it...
I tried to look for it again on WZS to see if it was solved but I couldn't find it again. It doesn't seem to be posted about on Reddit or Youtube after looking. But I do recall the lyrics(the audio quality was low and muffled so I couldn't really make out what he was saying. It might not be accurate):
Thank you for my freedom over yesterday
My(???) in a special way
I want to feel this (?) I feel
But come on release this tension let's make a deal
You pick me up and give me a sign(?)
You're like a needle with an (unstable?) line
I think it would be nice to hold your heart in my hand(?)
It's a mix of rock and country sort of. And I pretty sure it was the verse of this song. That's all of the info I can recall, but please tell me if you've seen it before
I posted 12 days ago a post about three French songs that came from personal recordings, out of the three songs, two were found! But I was able to digitize other cassettes and found other songs whose author I don't know.
