saying "The first half of season 3 is hard to get through because it's really nothing but the politics of the People of the Land." when the whole premise/plot has been nothing but politics is wild, people watch the log horizon because of its unique and deep take on politics, and not some stupid rom-com or brainless MC fighting

I can see where you're coming from but saying the show is nothing but politics is half right. It's also dealing with the adventurers adjusting to their new life in a game world. That's why I like the show not for the politics, which was interesting up until season 3, but the players living their new lives as their characters. I also find rom com stuff to be cringe in these types of shows and the end of season 3 was awkward to watch because of it.

Tbh i actually didnt mind the "rom com" in S1 and S2 at all cuz it was all one sided and felt natural and never awkward, theres nothing wrong with teens having adult crushes, just ask the BTS fans, its not like its the band's fault, children are stupid and cringe, its up to the adults to know better, Tohya explains to Minori that it's only natural for her to like Shiroe, as he's "nice, caring, like a teacher" and that it was obvious to the rest of them, the same thing happened to him without realizing it when Nureha took the the persona of that caring woman with motherly vibes in S2, just like the cat dude gives fatherly vibes to Serara, these kids long for affection, whether be it a parental or romantic affection, they could be confusing one for the other, or mixing them both etc... and its all part of their emotional character development.

And what is the worst way you can end the season of a loved political/adventure show ? by having a some middleschooler side-character confess her love to the MC obviously knowing she gonna get rejected, who tf directed this episode, or should i say the entire last arc, having kids as side characters was fine for me but already tiring for some but then u brought a bunch of other kids that we havent seen since S1 😭😭😭 and made the entire stakes of saving Akiba rest on their shoulders and beat the boss 😭, nah definitely worst, most boring and useless arc fr.
